Of that list you'd expect another 5 or so to be sold or sent out on loan, as they aren't anywhere near good enough for a promotion chasing team (whether down to age or ability). It's a massive task.

5 is being kind. There's 2 keepers to go out on loan, Fleming and Furlong too, Woods, Simons and C Jones, and some out of Hall, Vaughan and Sellers-Fleming. Lokilo and Longman could be moved on too

The Franco-Malian Kalidou Sidibé, 25, arouses many lusts. According to the information collected by our Africafoot editorial staff, two English clubs are interested in Guingamp's young defensive midfielder.

Kalidou Sidibé is currently in talks with Hull City. The English club, which failed to reach its goal of entering the Premier League for the 2023/24 season, made an offer for the 2.02-metre long midfielder to strengthen its central midfielder.

Hull City occupies seventh place in the standings, far from its main objective. The Tigers are targeting the slender midfielder of Malian origin to compensate for the possible departure of Scottish international Greg Docherty, whose contract expires on July 1, 2024, and the bad form of Adama Traoré, whose rumours indicate a transfer. The Tigers have their eyes on Kalidou Sidibé to prepare for the 2023/24 season for a return to the Premier League.

The player, who would like to take up a challenge in England, has no shortage of contenders, since Blackburn also wants to integrate him into his squad this summer. The Blackburn Rovers Football Club has expressed its interest in Kalidou Sidibé. The Rovers are in talks with the Paris FC under-19 trainee. A meeting between the two players to discuss his signature is expected soon.

Ooof. Think Acun might have got the wrong end of the stick when he heard we needed someone with a decent tackle....

Isn't that too long for a midfielder who has to run 12+ kms as defensive midfielder, I mean he would lose a lot of mobility. It makes sense for a striker or centre-back, but not sure about a midfielder. Yeah tall DMs are a trendy thing but that usually stops around 1.93.

He gives me N'Zonzi vibes, tall with ok touching but it takes 4 seasons until he completes his 360 degree turn and Sidibe is even 6 cms taller than him.

Just means Trabzonspor have priority if he goes back to Turkey

Ah OK. I was reading it as if another Turkish club wants him we have to agree to sell him back to Trabzonspor to sell on, but that's ridiculous so I'm sure you're right.
