For most of us,....if this is confirmed....the key to the announcement will be where Dodds and Proctor end up.
Agreed with that.
Hopefully they aren't part of the 1st team set up.

Absolute ****er him like.Aye . Of course
swear some at WMS just want the club to fail
I agree with this. I think if a new coach comes in and gives his own ideas, the players need to be freed from the previous ideas, particularly as they didn't work.
Maybe if you're going to appoint yourself as spokesman for 'most fans'.No,do I need to?
Absolutely. The nagging doubt is Speakman wants his unsackable boys on the inside reporting back to him. If they are out the picture fair do's and let's get behind the new HC. If not it will be more of the same imo.
That’s how I read it,On the staffing discussion, I don't think what is being implied is that RLB will be bringing a full team with him. I imagine he'll bring 1 or maybe 2, but I think anything else will have input from the club and will be here for Sunderland, not necessarily RLB men if that makes sense.
Their 'rivalry' with Roker Report led them down a miserable path. Cannot listen to them nowAye . Of course

At least with RR they do take other opinions and respect themTheir 'rivalry' with Roker Report led them down a miserable path. Cannot listen to them now
Not really, I just don't like the scapegoating of Dodds' position and I don't like, in any walk of life, when people claim to speak for the majority when a lot of the time they're only representing a vocal minority.I don't think I would ever do that! Nothing in my make up would ever have indicated that! I'm just going by the posts from people.
However,if you're looking for some kind of unfounded confrontation.....bring it on.

That is pure conjecture based on no facts at all and is probably just a story in your head that Dodds and Procter will go running like naughty children to tell the big boss that the new boss is doing stuff they don't like.Absolutely. To be fair, rumours of this have been around since Mowbray was here. That is pure conjecture based on no facts at all and is probably just a story in your head that Dodds and Procter will go running like naughty children to tell the big boss that the new boss is doing stuff they don't like.
Do me a favour mate give your head a shake instead of posting ill conceived inflammatory posts with no substance.
The belief isn’t borne out by the facts unfortunately. The French, like us Brits are one of the most warlike nations to ever walk on this planet. Whilst not actively aggressive towards other nations, the French have a very long history of defending their national interests. They were a global superpower for centuries and only came undone during the first half of last century where their geographical position meant that they were the prime area for major land battles. In the face of the Wehrmacht onslaught any nation other than the USA would have capitulated and in 1939 we were woefully unprepared for war, so who is to say that the British wouldn’t have waved the white flag then?No suggestions of a French themed day at the club, please. We saw enough surrenders last season.
You literally started your sentence with 'For most of us....' then made an assertion.I never claimed to be speaking for the majority, what is wrong with you? However,I have ventured the opinion that,in the event of a new coach coming in,it may be difficult for Dodds and Proctor,or,more specifically, for the new coach to retain them, given their influence over the players in the last 6 months or so.

Great article that. Sunderland at the moment seem to try and see potential in assets that have or are faltering a bit.
