Him and the other kid on the podcast were constantly bashing the club for anything and everything. Doom and gloom constantly. The main reason I stopped listening and unfollowed their socials was those two.
Tbh I think he’s just joking here, but he is one of the culprits for WMS negativity, I’m all for opinions and that’s fine, but it’s everything that comes out of the club gets met by them with immediate bashing, like the Alicante trip for example, soon as the venue was announced the only ones that had any form of outrage was them
Not sure about this mate. It really depends on the roles they have,if,indeed they are still part of our coaching team. In my business life,I had problems with moving into a position of authority when others of a previous regime were still in areas of influence. Sometimes,a new broom sweeps clean.
The whole of WMS spout nothing but ****e and negativity and are always quiet when we are doing well. There’s not one thing that they do that shows that they “support” Sunderland. Constantly tearing it down for their weird little bash the owner fetish
Massive gamble. No doubt whatsoever. Too big for me but I’d have said the same about Maric, maybe even Jansen and Still.. After our season a safer bet seemed the right option. Rosenior, Rohl, Cifuentes. Of course gamblers sometimes win and I’ll back this until we know better. Needs 12 games or so for me before we judge fully.
Absolute tossers the lot of em. The title couldn’t be further from the truth. Gob ****es spout would be more apt.
I feel like this is finally a head coach that actually fits the model like a glove personally. He’s known to be successful with young squads. If we bring in young players but make sure they’ve had senior football experience in the same vein as Ballard, Simms, Joffy, Hume, Clarke etc he could have a good chance here
I just hope the new man is given the tools to do the job properly. I think the UK players will be intrigued to see what see a European coach brings to the table rather than the next cab off the rank British coach who they will have seen and heard it all before.
Spot on mate. No doubt it's a gamble, but,we could say anyone would be a gamble.Let's give the Board the benefit of the doubt, see how pre-season,recruitment and player dealings go,injury recovery, and the first 10 matches of the new season. Then we can begin to assess where we are.
This idea that Dodds & Proctor could somehow be spies for the club baffles me tbh. What could the manager, and his staff, possibly be hiding and how would they hide it ... ... it doesn't matter who anyone is, they all answer to KLD who has 'access all areas' and can ask any questions he likes. This isn't 'mixed infants' with secret notes being passed around. The entire club from Speakman down to Doris, 'the managerially approved refreshments operative', will be expected to work as a team, Seriously I can't think of a single example of how the manager and the coaches could be keeping a secret especially as the owner speaks fluent English and French ... ... perhaps it'll be, 'Mr Speakman, that nasty manager just insulted me and said I have a certain 'je ne sais quoi'. 'And is that true Doddsy?' 'Don't know boss, I don't know what it means'
Ok, my pennies worth (probably not worth a penny) From a simplistic point of view it is something different for our UK born players, which might make it more interesting and it should be useful for the french lads in the team (I dont know, I know some people who speak the same language as me and I cannot tolerate them) If it is him we have to get behind him, as does KLD, and lets see what he can do I now want a home game to start the season. HTL
Chris Wetherspoon blocked me at one point but I’ve never been nasty or confrontational. I’ve just pointed out how they always seem to have an angle against the club. I obviously wonder if something has happened between the two and it’s upset them
They remind me of ex-smokers who are ten times as fanatical about smoking and how terrible smokers are.
Absolutely sums up the situation for me we either have a gem on our hands or someone who was massively found out after a great first half season. Was he a one trick pony who was found out tactically or has he learned and can adapt. All the speculation is just words now need the club and fans to back him After Beale and Dodds for me a lot will be forgiven if he can just bring a bit of excitement and enjoyment back into our play
I think of "us" as collective Sunderland fans. If I'd have said" For most of the fans on here"...would that have made a difference to you?
Think after the whole banding against Donald and Co they’ve got a god complex. Thinking they are better than they actually are
