Bulut probably still harbours hopes he’ll land Roger. Whatever he can’t leave it till the last night of the window to land a decent goal scoring striker.
As always, price would have to be right. He'd probably still fit in ok but I'm sure we were all a little unconvinced by his work rate and first touch??? Deffo knew where the goal was though.
He knows how to finish. Erol would need to ensure he had the team set up to provide the service he'd need to be effective. A known quantity though. Get Erol watching the videos of the games he played for us.
https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/ipswich-town-interested-in-a-move-for-cardiff-citys-rubin-colwill/ Colwill to Ipswich rumours going around.
Well, if he's going, let's hope it's not for peanuts. I'd be a bit surprised if something actually did come of it though.
The club need to make a stand here. From the days of Toshack through to Nathan Blake to Earnshaw, Gabbidon, Collins Ramsey etc City have sold local players rather to bring in more quality players to entice them to stay. There’s no need to sell Colwill.
It's all chicken and egg isn't it. I agree totally with what you're saying but if he was sold for a substantial sum, perhaps it would fund the acquisition of the quality players to bring on the rest of the youngsters? However, it's unlikely that he'd command a huge fee anyway. So yep, hold fast.
With modern transfers as they are, you'd be expecting £5m. You'd hope that would get us 2 or 3 experienced championship players. Funnily enough, that's what we got for Ramsey.
Shame. He would have been a positive addition, providing guidance to Erol and his back room staff. I wonder how Erol would get on with Bellamy.
Not quite transfer news but our super exciting pre-season, 125 year anniversary fixtures are now out... https://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/new...:text=2024 home pre-season fixtures confirmed Again, the excitement is almost unbearable.... WTAF?????
Who actually arranged all this? Sack 'em, whoever it is. Who will benefit from these games? Certainly not us and definitely not the two small clubs. And where are the celebration games? Did they even try to get a game against a certain, second tier, German club? It's a wonder we haven't got a game against Kuala Lumpa Mothercare Spot Welders Second Eleven.
What, from the anniversary dinner whilst BfB is at the game? That's the sign of a bloody good mate that is!
I've just seen there will also be a tour in Austria before the "glamour" home game against League 1 giants Reading. Depending on who they line up, that could be a bit more interesting.
WoL continuing with duplicitous headlines and starting writing articles about 'who Cardiff aren't going to sign'. It's going to be a lllllooonnnggg summer. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport.../tonights-cardiff-city-transfer-news-29411921
