Well, if he's going, let's hope it's not for peanuts. I'd be a bit surprised if something actually did come of it though.
The club need to make a stand here.
From the days of Toshack through to Nathan Blake to Earnshaw, Gabbidon, Collins Ramsey etc City have sold local players rather to bring in more quality players to entice them to stay.
There’s no need to sell Colwill.

It's all chicken and egg isn't it. I agree totally with what you're saying but if he was sold for a substantial sum, perhaps it would fund the acquisition of the quality players to bring on the rest of the youngsters?
However, it's unlikely that he'd command a huge fee anyway. So yep, hold fast.

With modern transfers as they are, you'd be expecting £5m. You'd hope that would get us 2 or 3 experienced championship players.
Funnily enough, that's what we got for Ramsey.

Not quite transfer news but our super exciting pre-season, 125 year anniversary fixtures are now out...

Again, the excitement is almost unbearable....

WTAF?????
Who actually arranged all this? Sack 'em, whoever it is.

Who will benefit from these games? Certainly not us and definitely not the two small clubs.

And where are the celebration games?

Did they even try to get a game against a certain, second tier, German club? It's a wonder we haven't got a game against Kuala Lumpa Mothercare Spot Welders Second Eleven.
