Think felltops posts have been good reads even though I think he is being too lenient towards Southgate (imo). But this comment man haha, thought it was one of those AI generated things at first.

Done talking about Southgate, we all know the kind of England coach he is, that's that and it has been for years.

Two horrible performances by all accounts but four points and a win or a draw will see us through.

Hopefully these games get the players playing better together and get fitness into the legs of those who need them.

I can absolutely see us winning a tournament under Southate, it will just be very very ugly.

I dont intend to get up in the middle of the night to watch the games. I will live vicariously through you poor ****ers.

Is anyone staying up to watch the Copa America? Argentina and Canada are on now. Good start by Argentina. Messi is playing well. Still 0-0.

The better teams will blow us away, barring a change in tack that's about as likely as me finding Scarlett Johansen waiting for me when I go in the shower.

I DO enjoy England supporters' fewm after a game. The arrogance of some fans where they demand that England win every game in a style akin to 1970s Brazil is hilarious and frustrating.
England were poor and comfortably second best against an experienced Denmark team, yet still came out of the game with a point and are top of the group.

Do the players take no responsibility like? Do you think Southgate told Rice to misplace every pass, or Walker to shank every ball out of play? Even the "best player in the world" Bellingham couldn't string 2 passes together

I don't believe I said they shouldn't take responsibility.

Everyone can see the potential, and that these players are a shadow of themselves at club level.

Last night was the finish for Southgate. The open, blunt and unvarnished criticism he got from everyone indicates they don't care whether he takes the huff with them now or not. He's done. They know he's gone unless he wins it and there's no chance of that happening.

Six years, is it five tournaments now, with probably the best squad in my lifetime, wasted.

I’d be bold and sack him mid-tournament. Bring someone in who can motivate the players and who can get the players to deliver on tactics.

I was actually thinking about this this morning. The FA dont have the balls to do it. They would probably put Hodson in as an interim or Dodds :)

Predictions for today?

Slovakia 1-1 Ukraine
Poland 0-1 Austria
Netherlands 1-2 France
