Wharton does everything people say and want Trent to do but miles better and he also knows the position so wont be leaving them short!

Could also get Kane in the game!

High quality performance so far. Saka is the real threat. But we have so much control in all areas. 1-0 is always dodgy, a second goal will be welcome.

Southgate has 5 subs, and talent to burn. Serbia have chased and chased. Likes of Gordon and Palmer must be liking their lips.

I thought Serbia might've come out a bit more after we scored but they've kept the same mindset

He could have made any amount of changes. He made the right ones under pressure. Robson was elite level coach, and got a side higher than they warranted.

So does that make him a good coach or a lucky one? Or maybe a bit of both?

For me I would want a coach to get a side (either club or country) higher than they should be. History will show 1990 to be a good tournament for England and that will do for me
 
I know it might be classed as heresy but what about taking Kane off for either Watkins or Toney and play a bit on the counter with a bit of pace up front
 
Good switch this by Serbia. This is now where Arnold needs to turn them round. Loads of space in behind now.
 
While it's 1-0 there's always a chance.

We've had more then enough possession to kill these off, and yet again we've stepped back.
