As long as either Foden or Bellingham goes in the middle and Arnold goes off. For everyone saying before the game what Arnold will bring to the team, I've really yet to see it

We must be watching different games. Arnold has made a key pass and broken up the play in the build up to 2 of England's best attacks. He's very good at getting Saka into space.

Foden has looked like a lost little boy whilst Bellingham runs the show. He's seemingly got the freedom to move anywhere across the forward line and he just keeps getting in people's way.

That's football, people see things differently

Doubt it. Robson also got grief from the fans and media.

Up until now I think this generation has always been a touch naive. Against Croatia one big tackle and a yellow was what it needed. They didnt have it in them. These next two tournaments are prime for this group. If we can get deep, and Shaw comes in, then I wouldnt swap our side for any.
He probably got grief 'cos he was average at best . . . . a bit like Southgate, and only got as far as he did with the England team 'cos of injuries & suspensions. I'd say that he was very lucky to do as well as he did and get the credit that he got:emoticon-0148-yes:

Left side offers nothing, as I said before the game. Left sided midfielder in Foden who is being told to go infield but then you have Trippier also going infield from the same side. Makes no sense.

Guehi really good, Saka looks a threat everytime he gets the ball and impressed with Trent in the middle.

Early 2nd half goal and we'll be fine.

So far so good. Bellingham and Guehi excellent, Saka scaring Serbia when he gets on the ball.

Only negatives are we have been a bit sloppy in defence at times and our left side isn't working but I think the lack of a left footed left back is impacting on Foden
