I get that: but aslong as I’ve been on these message boards all your posts are negative, not just this year. I just wonder why?

haha I was thinking about this today weirdly. Felt like we didnt commit to an unpopular decision in sacking Mowbray for him and then 12 months later, he's indirectly caused us to lose out on our main target.

We still have time to go and get a good coach, a coach better than Still in fact, which would probably turn the whole thing round. Just has to be soon.

We need to make sure we sign the right coach/manager. If it wasn't Still, then it's onto the next one. The club are a closed book, baring some inside info from some good ITK lads on here, **** all gets out these days. People can disagree with me and respect to all concerned, but we've rushed people through the door in the past and it's went tits up. I'll reserve judgement until the new man comes in. For all we know, Still could be an arrogant pratt and not a fit for us, and IF he wants to stay safe and stay in France in a safe 1 team leauge, rather than test himself in one of the hardest leauges in the world, then that's up to him, says more about him than us, and he spoke (reportedly) to Norwich and possibly didn't fancy that. Onto the next one.All of the above is ofcourse in Mt opinion. Oh and @Magnus , you can piss off with the leaving this board ****e aswell mate, goal posts move, stay on here where you belong. We await your response.

Oh and if what's reported is true that Still verbally agreed to come then U-Turned at the last minute, then as much as folk don't like the set up, we can't be blamed for that, and while I'm not nieve, I don't want someone like that figure heading our club. Once folk have calmed down, they'll realise Speakman will be as pissed off as the fans are. We've literally been used.

An alternative world view. Speakman is so useless at identifying targets he gets better people by default. I still remember, with abject horror, the daliance with Keane. Imagine the absolute disaster that would have been. Maybe Still is just another failure that turns into success.

Has Still be confirmed at Lens?

Only query I have, could the club have sorted it out sooner so it was all done and dusted before Lens even came in?

Neil wanted more money as well as control over transfers. He got both a Stoke - that turned out well

Couldn't agree more to this Flash. I didn't know you had posted this but I've said similar in something I've just posted.

I agree, but it's worrying if we need our first choice to turn us down to get to the right person:emoticon-0140-rofl:

Ive actually come around to the idea of rosenior - i know you are a big fan and i just think he will have a massive chip on his shoulder for next season and some team could really benefit from that kind of attitude

The internet is full of dafties mate. Those who love to speculate and rant. The 5 of us defending the club are the exception that suggest the internet has some intelligent folk :1980_boogie_down:

Will be interesting to see when we do appoint if Dodds and Proctor are in post. Of course if they’re not there, for some the narrative will be that we’ve made that change after today to “prove” we were willing to for Still as well. So the club can’t win on that.

As I’ve said all along I’d be fine with both of them staying in post as long as the head coach gets a say. And if they’re still in place then there’s no way of proving the club were willing to replace them. So the club can’t win then either.

not sure what the point of this post is tbh :D

2 possession heavy sides and one fairly possession heavy side went up this year. Roseniors style is the current successful trend within the championship. Would be perfectly fine with it, as long as he can just unlock his teams offensively a bit more.

So what is going on? I'm like most fans in the fact that we need to appoint someone asap so we can prepare for next season.

If Still goes to Lens then so be it, as they are a totally bigger fish than we are at the moment.

These days I take a lot I read with a pinch of salt, but back in the day without all the instant news it was better as you knew the new gaffer etc when it was on the news or back of paper
