It's not the general feeling of our fan base

There’s probably 5 people on this thread who are defending the club. There’s thousands on twitter who are going mental. All of my mates who go match I’ve spoken to are growing tired of it now. Just because it’s not how you feel doesn’t mean it’s not how the rest of us feel mate. It’s blatantly obvious for all to see.

But the season wasnt a few weeks longer, last season was shocking we all know that. We know we need a cracking summer to kick on n get back on track but it sounds like we identified who we wanted as our manager n gone after him

Been told by reliable sources that we were giving Still exactly what he wanted but hes then at the last minute decided to go elsewhere

He couldnt sign a deal with any other club until the 1st June otherwise theyd be due Reims a lot of comp (been told it was between 7-10 million - which no club in the championship would pay)

Noone is happy how this is playing out btw, we all want a manager in asap so we can start to look forward to the season
undoubtedly a very good deal for the club. Should never have got to that point tho. Should have been re-contracted for longer

It was a superb deal for the club which turned out for the best.

I get that, i was a big speakman fan as think he got the club back on track but my faith in him is fading fast after last season

The beale appointment was a shocker but when he turned up at the press conference to say he witnesses the best training session ever, it was embarrassing and i lost so much respect for him in that moment

I’ll judge how i think this managerial appointment is when we actually appoint someone. I would rather take our time to get the right manager in than rush n just make any appointment

Literally the only things I can think of he’s got right in the last 12 months are Jobe, Murty and the Stewart sale. Everything else has been below underwhelming

All we can do is cling onto hope mate!!

This will be worth it if we get the right manager in - to take this long you must nail the appointment

We really do mind. I’ve got an awful feeling we’ll appoint someone out of work on the cheap and come to regret it this season. Hope I’m wrong.

I get you feeling like that mate, honestly do. Ive always been one of the biggest defenders of the club, i suppose i still have been defending them based on what ive told has happened, but i totally understand why so many are deflated n fed up

I don't count social media as a true reflection of the fan base. I know lots of Safc fans and they aren't having a meltdown. Will wait and see who they appt before making judgements.

He agreed to join.
Was sent a contract
Didn't sign it.

I agree it should've been done sooner but he's literally agreed to join then backtracked.

Craig Hope loves to stick the boot in and hasn't so I believing that version tbf

Agreed. The Roker Report view makes sense to me too. Reports earlier about Still accepting the highest offer.

"Pingu" who everyone seems to think gets solid info said that Dodds and Proctor were being moved out of lead roles and that wouldn't be a problem.

Magnus also certain beyond doubt that it was done.

Now I'm not saying KLD and Speakman are not culpable. They're trying to shop at a level that they maybe don't have the resources or the experience for. They've also lacked the ability to close the deal.
But I don't think they failed to get this over the line because they were too rigid.

I think we signed some talented lads last summer, i also think mundle has really good upside n hjelde will be a really solid squad player - the issue was they were all long term signings

None to really improve us short term which you must do every window

Out of interest, who would you like us to bring in as head coach?

Bob lad, me and you are like brethren but where has this tried to sell us come from. FWIW KLD has always said we would be sustainable, and any businessman would want to make money from selling on. So I wouldn’t blame him, for that. I don’t think the hordes will settle for sustainability whilst in the Championship though.
you are right, he wants success on a shoestring, not gonna happen in the championship. look he is OK but this system/model needs to change, some on here cant accept that, or criticism of KLD, and that's everyone's right.

Stewart was asked to come back, as Juan was spending more time back home, so Kyril asked him to come back for 1 year, he declined and sold his shares so he could invest elsewhere.
Believe it or not he still has interests in the club.

You stated he was coming back to "give advice". He sold his share holdings:-
SAFC statement :- Mr Louis-Dreyfus has increased his stake to 64%, with Juan Sartori increasing his stake to 36%.
The shares have been acquired through the purchase of shares previously held by Stewart Donald, who has now exited the Club’s shareholder group entirely.

So what interest does he have in the club?
