You interjected in a conversation about the way Beale was treated. You might not have said anything about acting with decency but that's what the whole conversation was about.
I was there and he was met with apathy where I was. The worst of it was on social media. The point is it's on Speakmans for not doing his due diligence and finding out how he had failed at Rangers,, with a fanbase sick of the sight of him and his excuses/blame game, which he replicated at SAFC. Speakman also failed to 'read the room' at the club - he then has written off a third of the season by appointing Dodds who's been one of our worst managers ever ppg wise. These 2 are now heavily involved in planning for next season and who gets the head coach position but will still have to work with Dodds and Proctor. It's a crazy situation and is not in any way positive imo.
Just for you s you seem incapable of finding the post Exactly. I just do not get this 'I'm a better supporter because I never complain' attitude. Nothing ever improved because people said nothing. Ever. That's not what's being said. Thats what you typed, thats what I responded to, can you remember that now? Or do you want to continue ignoring it?
You have no way of knowing what the set up will be under a new head coach as no one has been appointed you also know nothing about the planning for next season apart from the fact we are going to Spain so to state they are heavily involved in that planning, when in reality they are probably on holiday somewhere with their families is again pretty much pure conjecture. It looks fairly obvious that Dodds was only a caretaker and was given the position due to his standing with the squad and a good interim spell after TM left and as said before it seems like the club are taking time to try and get the next appointment right. I find your constant criticism and Ill informed jabs at the club and particularly KS as nothing more than complaining for complaining sake. If you genuinely have a gripe then please balance your opinions and use the facts. PPG Dodds has been poor but he was an interim HC until end of season and was not an appointed HC as he said in his initial press conference. MB was poor at Rangers but was widely praised for his time at QPR. He was not the right fit for us but we are not the first team and wont be the last to make a poor HC/Manager appointment you only have to look at Birmingham last season to see that. As for a fanbase sick of the sight of him I think we only hear from him a few times a year and whilst some of the fan base do not like him I think he has enough in the bank for at least another year as we are a better set up club now than we were before he took over.
I'm very sorry, but I know exactly what I was replying to. My post "that's not what's being said" was in reply to Grizzled Wanderer who was quoting a post by Confucius which formed part of a conversation from yesterday about the treatment of Michael Beale. Your reply of "not in so many words, but it is" (and your subsequent post) suggested that you understood both my post and Grizzled Wanderer's post in the context of the Michael Beale conversation. Therefore, I replied to you in the context of that conversation.
I can cover all of that...... The rangers fans were sick of Beale - Speakman didn't do due diligence - read post again of you like. He did 16 games at QPR with bang average results. Speakman knew best only he didn't just thought he did. He also said we were constantly succession planning a while back and would always have someone lined up - well it's nearly 3 months since Beale went and there's still nobody in post and this is an important time. Sorry he is a chancer and a bluffer but you keep buying it if you like. They have said themselves who will be involved in the recruitment.
I said similar when someone else said this! They didn't want manager that had failed in their last job and been sacked or inexperience either. Doesn't leave anyone does it!
Why? People are arguing it was ok to turn on Beale because he’s failed somewhere. Totally relevant. If you want to obsess about rangers post on a rangers board.
He also had not succeeded anywhere. Face it he blew speakman away with a bluffed Power point presentation. Woeful appointment most of us knew at the time.
Can I just say that Beales 11 league games in charge yielded a better points return than Mowbrays first 11 games. And that was with what many believe as a much weaker squad. Sacking him was correct, I agreed with it and still do but why are people still going on about it? If anything, sacking Beale that early was one of the only correct decisions the club made this season. People want ruthlessness, they got it. Surely that's a positive?
It's a contentious, divisive subject. It's always going to blow up again whenever he's mentioned, even if that's in the context of the new head coach.
No one on here has ever said that. I've never noticed any poster who doesn't complain ... ... perhaps it would be clearer if you just named a few rather than hiding being vague generalisations. I'm not sure what your problem is tbh. Perhaps you're jealous of those supporters who actually go to games, meet up with mates and enjoy their day whatever the result. You're close enough and could go if you really wanted to but don't, content to chip away at the club and the supporters. Or it is that you're actually as bitter as you come across and think you impress people with your ridiculous 'business jargon', applied to a football club, which doesn't actually fit. There's a weird theory, on forums, that those who moan the most are actually responsible for prompting changes at the club which probably makes them feel proactive. I'd guess you're one of them.
