Sunderland can forget Svensson by appointing coach who's perfect for Jobe (msn.com)
Lee Carsley anyone?
Havent heard him mentioned think it could be a good left field choice!

Personally I think he was always the wrong choice based on his record. He had never managed a full season and was sacked with Rangers behind St.Mirren in the league.
Couldn't care less where he's from or his accent - he was never going to succeed due to being a poor manager. That's why a lot of support was negative towards the appointment. Speakman thought he knew best - he couldn't have got it more wrong.
Fast forward and we have the same football director having a major say in selecting the next head coach along with his failure of a mate who also has done nowt in the game at a high level. (excepting 2 disastrous temporary spells as caretaker).
This is concerning because it screams mediocrity and jobs for the boys or yes men who will work with the current coaches doesn't fill me with confidence.
I really, really enjoyed that.Slaven Bilic on the touch line in his suit always reminded me of a detective that's still haunted by that one case he couldn't solve, the killer was always two steps a head then vanished, all leads turned cold...but the detective couldn't move on. Eventually his obsession drove friends away and then came the divorce.Overlooked for promotions. No other cop will work with him because he became a loose cannon. He basically lives in the station, drinking cop coffee and 2 packs of smokes a day at a desk covered in papers, files and white boards with Zlatans name on it and never seems to go back to his apartment or clock off. Despite his Chief telling him he has "vacation time built up", he never takes time off. Anyway, not really our type of manager the board go for judging from the potential list of whom we're rumoured to be after.Plenty of experience though. You must log in or register to see images
And I watched a load of **** football with players not looking like they knew what they were doing. I know what’s more important to me when I’m sitting in the SoL
For me I think Jobe will become a top footballer and your right about his speed with his feet but I also think speed of thought at times lets him down as if he is trying too hard to think what to do next, this seems a common trait with a lot of young players as they transition into the men's game. It normally improves as they mature and their understanding with team mates develop. Jude plays this way a bit more naturally now with quick natural looking movements, but we need to remember Jobe is only 18 and turned 18 during the season so is still young in footballing terms. He is a master at it already. He has always wanted to do that, and when younger he would lose it sometimes. But I always felt it was lart of hia game that would make him elite level. I think Neil didnt trust that side of his game but Mowbray encouraged it. He is now just so hard to get the ball off, and when he is in trouble he has learned the dark art of falling over on top of the ball and winning a free kick.
Jobe is good at it too, and is learning quickly. He is using his body well, but still improving. He just lacks a bit of quickness with his feet, but that will come.
Exactly.
I just do not get this 'I'm a better supporter because I never complain' attitude.
Nothing ever improved because people said nothing. Ever.
That's not what's being said.Exactly.

not in as many words, but it isThat's not what's being said.
you can deny it as much as you want, you see the same posters posing the same things all the time, but you can deny it if you want if it meets your narrative.No. Its not.
When is this out at the pictures ?Slaven Bilic on the touch line in his suit always reminded me of a detective that's still haunted by that one case he couldn't solve, the killer was always two steps a head then vanished, all leads turned cold...but the detective couldn't move on. Here he is again Plato. Things change mate when things get done not by moaning and they are about to do something at a time when change can happen. Plus plenty of us have said plenty, just some of us rationalise it while others piss the bed.Exactly.

There is no narrative. My only agenda is that I think people should behave with decency and respect to other people. Not thinking someone is a good football manager is no excuse to abuse them.you can deny it as much as you want, you see the same posters posing the same things all the time, but you can deny it if you want if it meets your narrative.

In terms of being a football fan. It makes sense to give someone a chance before heaping pressure on them.
No, I haven't got you confused with anyone else. It seems you might want to follow the thread back from the point that you said to me "not in so many words, but it is".I have no idea what you are talking about, when have I mentioned not acting with decency? Have you got me confused with someone else?
