It happens when lads are so young. I know it's different but Dom Solanke has taken a while to be worth the money Bournemouth paid.
Great example. He is a monster now and he looked absolute pipe.

I dont think Hemir is good enough, maybe experienced enough, to get in the right positions for balls into the box. If he was constantly running across his man I dare say Clarke would see it. He doesnt do that though and neither does Burstow. Neither demand the ball by virtue of their movement. Added to that with their back to goal they are poor. If a CF isnt making the runs in the box he has to hold it up and bring players into the game. Neither do that well imo.
Rusyn I still have hopes for. He had been unlucky with injuries and he didnt look at ease with things early in his time here. I saw one goal in particular where he beat his man to the front post and scored to encourage me. I think he will play a bigger part next season, but probably not through the middle. I reckon Hemir will be out on loan.
Why do I think Poch had Burstow in the first team? Because Chelsea havent got a striker in the building worth the title, despite spending billions, and I reckon any coach would run the rule over any u23 lad to see if they have something to offer. Probably as simple as that in pre-season. Let’s be honest, he has had chances here in terms of playing time and hasnt looked like adding much to our team. Nowt against the lad, and he can go on and have a good career, but his contribution this season has been poor, which is on him not his teammates in my opinion.
Honestly mate I’ll die on this hill and people won’t agree because they love the young lads we have from last season so no blame is ever left at their door but they’re just not good at providing for a striker. It all starts with the midfield though, attack slowly and let teams get behind the ball then you’re a situation where you’ve playing against what’s essentially a back 8 and your striker is against 2 CB’s. Good teams create chances for strikers, look at Haaland and all that’s being said about him currently. His all round play is dogshit we’ve said this for months but he’s lethal in front of goal and when the team around him create 5+ chances a game he’s going to score. When he’s not scoring it highlights how poor the other parts of his game are because he offers next to nothing.
Fair enough mate. I cannot agree. Strikers are a fundamental part of the chance creation process. Their movement, or their hold up play, or their ability to turn a defender. They have to be able to contribute before the ball comes to them in a goal scoring position. I have yet to see our strikers demonstrate they have the ability to do this well enough, or with regularity. Hemir is, for me, the prime example of a lad who probably found youth team football easy and has yet to realiss he is going to have to learn and develop his game to play at a higher level. It really is up to him and the coaches to put in the work because when he is on the pitch I just dont see enough that warrants his place. Burstow in the same bracket.Honestly mate I’ll die on this hill and people won’t agree because they love the young lads we have from last season so no blame is ever left at their door but they’re just not good at providing for a striker. No thanks. Really hope we aren’t signing bairns again to play up top. There's a young forward for Spurs who I thought done brilliant when we played them earlier in the season. He's a foreign lad, he's the type we could do with. The young lad for Swindon under 18's as well, modern striker.
We need to get a couple into our u21s as well tho, then loan hemir n mayenda outNo thanks. Really hope we aren’t signing bairns again to play up top.

Equally good strikers get given the ballHonestly mate I’ll die on this hill and people won’t agree because they love the young lads we have from last season so no blame is ever left at their door but they’re just not good at providing for a striker. Only bairn I’d accept and not sure if he still counts as one is stansfield but not sure if it’s possible given how well he’s done in a dire Birmingham side, can see Fulham keeping him right until the end of the window againNo thanks. Really hope we aren’t signing bairns again to play up top.
Big potential, career faltering a little, could be a good shout that!Anyone reckon we could get Hugo Ekitite on loan next year?
Not really pulled up any trees in Germany,
Young lad who needs games,
We seem to have a decent relationship with PSG,
Knows Will Still
Never been a massive fan of this lad, got loads of hype but think hes been pushed to senior football too soonAnyone reckon we could get Hugo Ekitite on loan next year?

Not sure hes cut out for the championship but you just never know, seems like the type of player that if the fans love him n hes the main man that he could be really good
Yeah ive only seen him a few times as well, think the move to PSG was far too early for him and worry he will be another that peaked too soonOnly seen him a handful of times and he's looked decent, a bit like Stewart in the way he plays. But like I said I'm hardly an expert on him.
He'd seem like a type of signing we'd make.
I was at the game against Swindon in the youth FA Cup and the centre forward was, for me, the best player on the pitch (which included Rigg btw) and was only 16. His movement was good and the ball stuck to him when played to him, so I would definitely have him for our development teams. We need to get a couple into our u21s as well tho, then loan hemir n mayenda out
