He might do okay if he was only handling payroll duties.
Don't let him write any cheques though as they might have bouncebackability

It’s pointless looking at the loss without player sales isn’t it?
Player sales are our best way of making money.
FFP on average allows you to lose £13m per annum, (£39m over 3 years) so if these figures are correct, and I think they are very much guess work, then there will have to be player sales to balance the books, or this 400k weekly figure is off the mark.
It does not end well in the long term. My last job was for a club where the owner was £22m in. Regardless of long he will do it, at some point someone will need to either buy it or rescue it.Ouch! £20m a year. I wish I had that kind of money haha

Absolutely not. If Acun is putting anywhere north of 200k a week in then someone at the EFL should be asking questions. It wont end well. And that applies to all clubs who are in similar situations.Hopefully the funding structure changes in summer. The league just isn't sustainable currently.

He isn't and he's still under probation, so the EFL know how much he's putting in.
If we're running a 20.5m operating deficit like last year, then without player sales he'll have to put it in this year. And that'll max out the ffp headroom for the rolling 3 years, if the last sets of accounts are anything to go by.
Aren't we all resigned to a player sale or two already?

Because the operating loss is where that 400k a week figure comes from. While it's factual it's not the full picture. We actually lost 5.2m in the year after taking into account the sale of KLP. Additional 400k of course referring to the fact that's the loss, meaning income less expenditure.
That loss also isn't a cash loss. It's not Acun writing a cheque each week for 100k.
There's an FFP thread though which might be more relevant for this..

Yeah, I reckon we will hopefully sell Allsop and Ingram. I think we will also sell Doc and possibly Longman and some of the other players out on loan.
