Saturdays performance levels have to be the minimum here...if we can do it at home then a corner may well and truly have been turned. Just let them play!!!

Won't be easy this one. Boro have the best current form in the Championship and are as strong away as they are at home. (Home form is W9 D4 L8; Away is W9 D3 L8). They're also unbeaten in seven.
We're level on points so they'll obviously feel they've still got a slight chance of the playoffs, although we've got that crucial game in hand.
It's another must win game, another cup final, another **** or bust. If we win then I think we end their slight playoff hopes, if they win then they end ours, if it's a draw then I guess we've ****ed each other.

Biggest game of the season. If we can’t turn up against the smoggy ****s, we never will. The fact it’s a must win for both teams play off hopes and anything but a win all but finishes off either side just adds spice to what is already one of the biggest grudge matches in football.

How exactly is anyone actually stopping them from playing? LR can't actually step on the pitch and physically stop Jaden from taking on a man.

You're just being pedantic for the sake of it, a coach can ( and I'm not saying he has or hasn't before anyone jumps in ) create an atmosphere where players feel they can't deviate from the "plan" they can feel over analysed, over coached ( which some have raised concerns ) and stifled for example. LR admitted he/the staff have analysed things to the n'th degree and it may have had a negative effect and sometimes the best thing is to just let players play ( and not overload them with data and instructions ). Saturday ( if he did just that ) it obviously worked. He's young and inexperienced so he's stuck to what he knows and what he's comfortable with as we all did in our young and inexperienced days. But by the sounds of it and the look of the display Saturday, he's learning and that's absolutely fantastic for all of us and long may it continue.
Must win for both teams. Simple as. Runs the risk of being a cagey affair until someone nabs a goal.
So again it's a case of we won the last match because he did what you said he should, and if we don't beat Boro you've already set out that it'll be because he's gone back to his own ways of over-analysing. Not the first time you've set out this no-win scenario for him.
Can't possibly just be that the level we're playing at is enough to win some games but not others. No, it's that LR sometimes listens to you and sometimes doesn't.
I have a good feeling about this one, watching Saturday's game, Carvalho/Tufan/Omur look to be gelling together. Omur is due a goal, hopefully we can keep the same levels as Saturday. Latte Lath is starting to look a real threat, we need to keep him under wraps.
I think that might favour us during the run in as the must-wins we have coming up truly are must wins for everyone involved, and neither team keeps their hope alive by getting a draw. Teams will have to try and go for it against at some point. That's when we seem to be at our best.
Long overdue home win 2-1. Think this will be a very cagey game. They will try to keep it tight and nick one second half. Unfortunately I don't see this as being a free flowing game and them going gung-ho from the start. We will have to be patient and carve out - and take - our chances.
Seriously what it is with people on here taking things that are said and twisting things and making **** up...

I said IF... and I'll say it again just so you're sure, IF... He did that sat it worked, he may not have done it and it may just be a coincidence or the way the game played out, but taking the performance, the change in attacking speed and directness for example and then his interview pre match. Id say it pretty obvious something had changed. You're perfectly free to ignore all that if you want....that's up to you.
But I'm really getting ****ing sick of the likes of you, taking what I post and twisting it and or making **** up just because you don't agree with what I'm saying. If you can't come up with a counter arguement or debate what I've said without twisting it or making things up then just don't, ignore me and move on it's becoming extremely tedious.
People say I'm to negative and anti LR and then when I'm praising him, saying there was an obvious improvement, that he's obviously taking things onboard and learning. People like you still have to try and make out "I'm beating him with a stick". I could just sit and say nothing until the next bad performance and then get my stick out again. But I won't do that, I'm not doing that, I'm doing what I have always done, praise were it's deserved ( as it is after Saturdays game ) and question things when they deserve to be ( which has been the case a lot this season )
I will debate and interact anyone on anything and more then happy to be called out and questioned on any of my thoughts and views.... As long as they don't twist and make stuff up.

I don't mean to come across as pedantic. I just find it hard to think that several players have been able to successfully suppress their natural instincts so consistently, game after game. Maybe you're right and LR is asking them to do and think about too much at once, but it's also possible that the crop of players we have are inconsistent and playing at their level. I definitely lean more towards the latter.
After all, the loan players we've signed are all very young and inexperienced (except Sharp, obviously). None of them are fully-formed players yet. If LR struggles to make the correct decisions due to inexperience, then they will too. It's only natural.
