Can't get my head around this point of view, as when we won our last honour, we had a mag managing us.
That was more than 50years ago FFS!!

JDT has got recent CRAA blood in him.
It’s a massive NO from me.
And he didn’t exactly pull up any roses af Blacknwhiteburn either.

I took a look at Reims record this season and it's not great.

I'm not against the idea of Will Still, I just don't get the popularity of him amongst our fan base when we know very little about him and what he has achieved, if anything?

If he gets the job, he'll get my full support, but I think there are other options that may prove to be better.

We shall see.....
I have never understood the obsession with him, he has done ok but nothing that makes him stand out

Yeah but look at the choices they had.
 <laugh>
Anyone supporting the Tories wants whipping with a shìtty wet blanket mind.

It's not even so much about being a trump supporter. I don't like the Clinton's at all.

It's about the fact he spoke publicly about it. To me that shows a general lack of awareness we probably don't need in a figurehead.

I kind of do and kind of don't get this they have achieved nowt thing. When I look at Arteta and Kieran Mckenna just to name a couple I don't think it is about what they have achieved I think it is more about the ambition and philosophy. For example the Polish coach has a very attack minded philosophy with a high press and a transitional out of possession formation.
Would that work for us I am not sure but it sound a lot more attractive that MB 2 defensive midfielder an a concession of territory to control possession and hit on the break philosophy.
So TBH I am not sure who the next man will be but I hope they have a more forward thinking and attacking approach with fluid movement in between the lines.

Not expecting a great reaction to this but how would people feel about Mike Williamson?

Worked wonders on a shoestring at Gateshead while playing some fantastic football. Then got the MK Dons job and has turned them into serious promotion challengers, again playing a great brand of football.

The man in the Swansea dugout today Luke Williams made the jump from League 2 to Championship a few months back so it isn't unprecedented.

Williamson is getting mentioned in some very high circles about being someone who could get a 'big' job fairly soon and would hate for us to be put off because he's a ex mag.

Fair play for putting it out there :emoticon-0148-yes:. I reckon Still is their man in the summer. I'd be going all out for Cooper tbh but Williamson is a new name in the frame.

Seen Heckinbotham linked as well as he's an ex safc player but wouldn't take him either. Potter would be ideal but we got no chance getting him.

Big jump from league 2 but think he will be a good manager, mag links don’t bother me don’t think he’s ever said anything derogatory about safc? But it would probably have him on the back foot from the get go, lose a couple and its ’agent mike’
