Here’s the number of goals scored from direct free kicks this season ^

I’m sure every team has a set piece specialist in their team too, wonder if they sack them off cause they haven’t scored 40 free kicks a game. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Twine was on track for 14 goal involvements if he carried on current form until the end of the season, I would’ve guessed he would’ve improved a bit further.

14 goal involvements from a midfielder for £2.5 million? Nope not good enough for Hull City. Let’s get another short term loan instead.

Keane Lewis Potter 15 goal involvements £16 million
Every team may have a free kick specialist, I'd expect all of them will have one that can occasionally put a free kick on target. Well, before today all bar one. :emoticon-0125-mmm:

I’ve been wondering whether he was an LR signing or an Acun signing.

To be honest now you mention that it probably was. Chased him last year and never really played in the correct position to benefit him. I am betting Manning gets the best out of him down there though

We've still got two weeks, I think we need to be steady away this window because the players we have coming back are first team starters.

We need to replace Delap, no doubt. Cole wouldn't be the worst signing in the world but it has an air of Chris Martin/Danny Graham about it, in that he looks good on paper but I'm not sure he'll hack going up a level. He has a grand total of 1 Championship goal in his career, seems like one of those players who is happy to spend his career in League One.
Dunno. I'd be going after Morgan Whittaker at Plymouth, or Lawrence Shankland at Hearts, the lad can't stop scoring at the moment.

The biggest difference between Allsop and Ingram, is the fact that the defence always look far more nervous with Ingram in goal.
Which makes the decision not to try and secure Darlow all the more baffling, but I guess our hands were tied with the wages. I still maintain that Allsopp has cost us about 6 points, maybe even more. Defo 2 at Swansea, 1 Watford, 1 at QPR, and 2 elsewhere.

Only 1 championship game remaining this month so eases the pressure somewhat, just a shame it's a 6 pointer against Sunderland and as it stands we're going into it weaker than we've been all season.

Whittaker is being linked to Brentford for big money so that's a non starter.

And Hearts would be looking for 4 or 5 million for Shankland so that's also a non starter..

How about Paddy Lane from Pompey? At least we could sing Penny Lane with some amendments inserted.

What was the point of bringing him in on loan if we never had the intention of signing him?

I get some players are a level above so a loan is the only option but Twine isn’t a Delap or Morton, surely the intention was to sign permanently?

Longterm planning has gone out the window, yes we have Carvalho to play in the 10 and wing role this season but what about next? <doh>

Let's be honest. If Twine had set the Championship on fire, then we would have stumped up the cash ourselves.
He's not been ****e, but he's not shown anywhere near the hype we thought we were getting.
The hype is not the players fault but we made a big play about having to fight off other Championship sides to get him.
There are other players I'd show the door before Twine (Lokilo, Doch, Sinik, Christie) but in reality we won't particularly miss him in a few weeks time in the form he has shown for us.

We shouldn't have shat over selves and signed a 5th choice target in allsop. We should have stuck with Ingram untill we could get a proper upgrade

I’m not so sure about this kid, hasn’t played much football, only just back from injury and will definitely not be up to speed. Also there is a chance he could break down and be out a period of time so totally useless to us…

Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi remains a player of ‘significant interest’ to Hull City, as detailed in a report by HullLive.

Hull City are keen to bolster their attacking department before the end of the transfer window.
Rak-Sakyi, 21, has recently been out injured for Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
Hull need more competition and quality in forward areas if they are to mount a serious push for the play-offs.

They lack depth on the wing so Rak-Sakyi would be a useful addition if they were able to bring him to the MKM Stadium for the remainder of the campaign.

He has been on the books at Crystal Palace since 2019 having previously been at Chelsea. The England youth international has made 10 first-team appearances for the Eagles in all competitions, eight of which have come during the first-half of this term.

HullLive report the Tigers tried to land him last summer and he remains on their radar this winter along with Burnley’s Manuel Benson.

The problem with this one is that it will probably go to the last day of the window and then Woy has the option to pull the plug again.
