Tufan sometimes shows all the class of why he was a top talent a few years ago, especially with his finishing. He’s not a worse player than Twine.
Tufan unfortunately is one of those players who has bags and bags of talent but no real hunger and desire that separates the good players from the consistently great players.
Yeah cos things are just getting worse every week aren't they...
We are in the running for a playoff position. That is the minimum I expect with this squad of players. You might have lower expectations/a lower opinion of our quality. Each to their own.
Totally disagree. I suspect truth be told our owner has higher expectations. Our owner has lower expectations too. What about our squad makes you think we're deserving of a play off place at a minimum? Our forward line is incredibly lightweight in terms of both experience and clear options, our midfield is unbalanced with only one quality winger and an overabundance of middle of the road central midfielders, and our defence was almost entirely recruited while we were in League One. Which part of that screams top 6 minimum?

Rosenior wanted to bring in his mate Connolly and got his way. The owner then also added Delap and Philogene and Lokilo.
Rosenior had the chance to do something about our unbalanced midfield but decided he didn't need what is so obvious that we do need. But instead added another no.10 type and had quality added with Morton.
Rosenior brought in Vinagre to solve our LB problem, was happy to loose a steady experienced LB, and also chose to bring in his mate Allsop.
Given what he inherited and the way he's been supported, it wouldn't be unreasonable to have play off expectations.

I agree with a lot of what you post, but not this. I don't think for one minute that Tufan lacks the hunger and desire, I would say the opposite.Tufan unfortunately is one of those players who has bags and bags of talent but no real hunger and desire that separates the good players from the consistently great players.
His mate.
Yeah not doing this again, not sure why you even thought you should bother.
Because as said I totally disagree with your post.
I do sometimes agree with you, and even add likes from time to time. This is nothing new so again, not sure why you bothered. Generally whenever I post something I assume you don't agree with it, you don't need to make it any clearer.

Sorry, I thought it was a message board for exchanging views. Silly me.
-> When the player plays **** it's Rosenior's fault, when a player like Philogene does well it's because he's an exceptional talent...
Philogene is an exceptional talent, and conjours stuff up from his own brilliance.
I've not said when a players **** it's Rosenior's fault. Stop making simplistic **** up.

Doesn’t matter when/where someone was recruited. Look at the likes of Myhill, Turner, Dawson etc. They more than held their own when they got to the Premier League. Their quality was evident in the lower leagues. I believe Greaves and Jones would too (at least).
I could go through the whole squad but right now I don’t have time (might try a bit later). We have some exceptional quality too in Philogene and Delap. While we have them, we need to be aiming for playoffs. There’s no doubt in my mind those two will be Premier League soon. Lots of others too who I am more than happy with and wouldn’t replace - good enough for a promotion push. I will try and list soon…

You just said Tufan was poor because rosenior isn't getting the best out of him. That's the player we're referring to. Or have you forgotten you said that already?
I didn't say all players, I didn't even say players plural. I said the player, singular, being the one being discussed. People get sick of these tedious discussions but they'd be half as long if people didn't moan over wording when it's eminently clear what's being referred to and addressed the clear intent of the message.
I'm curious though that Philogene has seemingly become an exceptional talent all of a sudden this season when he only managed 4 goals in the entirety of last season. Another, in Delap, has already eclipsed his goal tally from last season as well, but I suppose he's another who's become an exceptional talent all of a sudden.
