Tonight Hull the better side.
Bamford was very poor, Joseph is wanting game time, show what he can do then off he goes.
Fed up of Rutter pirouetteing with the ball and loosing it, one time tonight we could of been punished, if PL then we do get punished.
If we go up, sorry to say we shall get hammered with this current team.

On to Saturday and an even tougher fixture at Coventry.

Ipswich travel to rivals Norwich.

Leicester have an easier game against Brum at home.

I'm worried about the Coventry game. They look very solid at home.

Watched them against Cardiff earlier today, not that too solid at the back, but play nice football.

Well.....that was ****e.

A fortunate 3 points but Ipswich have been doing that all season.

4 points after the international break over 4 days with players missing is okay.

A few days break and hopefully a few injured players back.

we did look leggy today… they pressed us really well but even allowing for that we were sloppy in possession. Hopefully it was partly the international break effect and we can sharpen up for a tough trip to cov.

Cracks appeared tonight, Summerville looked to be not following team orders and it was a **** penalty, lucky the keeper went the wrong way.

Hull did a number on Summerville tonight and he needs to start being just a bit more of a team player. We had to win, a draw would have been a terrible Easter for us.

Teams are starting to press Meslier forcing him to kick long and it’s disrupting us, Farke needs to find an answer for that. We got lucky tonight but so did Ipswich, let’s hope theirs run out first
Agreed, but it wasn't just the pressing - they blocked the wings, which is where Meslier likes to lunp the ball (when he has to). Same for the CBs, who were rushed & didn't have their usual wide targets. Our usual wing-work was seriously undermined by this.

Have to say that I felt sorry that Coyley had to go off injured. They missed his direction, organisation, & surprisingly pacey runs through the middle when he went off. Bit of a sawn-off CB now, rather than a RB. Don't know if it was in plan for him to move, but he's clearly still got his pace, & we struggled to stop him when he charged forward. Have to say that it was a clever move, if planned.
