I'm pretty confused by this Hellberg link.

I've read that he's highly rated but I can't really see any indication of why that's the case.

Looks like he has had one good year at a tiny Swedish team, which seems all well and good but not exactly mind blowing.

Sure there is much more to it than I can see, and I trust KS and KLD, but I'm by no means sold on this guy.
Won 14 lost 13 this season. If we’re to take a punt on a relatively unknown I’d prefer Still then Farioli.

Think farioli is beyond us at this moment in time, Still sounds pretty interesting.

I just wish there was something substantial out there about Hellberg that isn't in Swedish. He got on their radar so there must be something to him.

Aye you’re probably right, I hadn’t heard of Still before TM was sacked, but I like what I’ve read.

Still would be my preferred choice.
Less keen on Hellberg but more than willing to give him a chance.
Sable would worry me slightly.

I'm really surprised we haven't been linked with someone who has worked for Red Bull. In one of his first interviews KS said he admired the way they play and operate. In April we were also linked with Struber and Jaissle. Wonder if there's someone of that ilk we don't know about lined up?

i'm completely in the dark about all these foreign managers/coaches mentioned recently ... guess we have trust in the recruitment process. The stakes are pretty high, they have to get it right

Sometimes you just have to be brave, I remember people laughing when Mourinho, who couldn't kick a football, was given a managerial job ...

... the stakes are the highest for KLD tbh.

We wouldn’t be able to get Farioli now so it’s about identifying and getting the next Farioli.

If you only looked at results then pre Nice Farioli would hardly be on your radar. It’s about spotting potential and we’re a smart club now so I’d have reasonable faith in our ability to spot a good’un. Not that there’s any guarantees mind.

Or aye I know all that. I’m just a knacker on a message board with nowt better to do, I only know the British merry go round of managers, the rest I get from lads on here. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Hellberg is out of contract at the end of the month according to transfermarkt. That probably plays a part, the cost of getting Will Still or Farioli out of their deals would probably be into the millions and thats under the assumption they'd want to come.
