Whoever comes in has to be totally committed to working within the set up and squad the club has spent all this time and effort building. If you want to do what people say Neil and Mowbray have done ...
... just walk on by.
Despite the criticism of 'the model' we've become admired throughout the country, played some incredible football and almost had back to back promotions.
The club has been totally transformed and a handful of results with a bit of a huff from Mowbray shouldn't change that imo. We've tried flexibility, big investment and older experienced players so many times before and it's been a much bigger shambles than the one some people are claiming this is.
In my opinion the club isn't going to suddenly abandon what they've built and why should they ...
... the new manager should match the ideals and aims of the club.
If not, go and manage someone else.
That's probably why IMO they'll go for a European head coach. Someone who will be used to being told "that's your squad, make a team out of it"
