This smacks of Birmingham sacking Eustace (a perfectly competent, if underwhelming coach) to replace him with a "big name" just for the lolz
Why? Who are we bringing in that’s not an upgrade on Mowbray?

Muscat is a shout. Replaced Postecoglou at Yokohama and plays a very similar way. Think he interviewed for the Millwall job recently.

If KLD wants to make a statement, he goes for Potter. On the face of it he's the perfect fit. Whether he would fancy it is another question.

I think he's earned the benefit of the doubt with his last two appointments if he wants to bring in someone who's largely unknown though.

Potter will be holding out for a PL job, or the England job in the summer. Not a chance he drops down to Championship level

No one lined up if you believe the bbc

edit, was a **** click bait title, I should have read to article first!

Somebody on here mentioned a guy who had been working with Tuchel and the Belgium national team and was highly regarded and they had a fair few stats to back that up but cant remember the name of the bloke they mentioned. Quick google search to find he is called Anthony Barry, but not heard him mentioned by anyone else.

Tuchel fought tooth and nail to get him out of Chelsea. Pretty unlikely they'll let him leave Bayern (unless he has a clause in his contract)
It's an interesting one for sure

Here's my list, Will Still is technically British (though born in Belgium), which would go against my original statement:

Sebastien Hoeness, 41 (Stuttgart, 66.67%)
Francesco Farioli, 34 (Nice, 57.14%)
Mark van Bommel, 45 (Antwerp, 54.55%)
Will Still, 31 (Reims, 45.65%)
Dino Toppmoller, 43 (Frankfurt, 45.45%)
Luka Elsner, 41 (Le Havre, 43.40%)
Pellegrino Matarazzo, 45 (Hoffenheim, 40.00%)
Gaerardo Seoane, 45 (Gladbach, 40.00%)
Carl Hoefkens, 45 (Standard Liege, 38.89%)

Julien Sablé seems to be the favourite. 43 y/o Frenchman, Assistant to Farioli at Nice. Down to evens with some bookmakers
