Telegraph are reporting that it was the 49ers that refused to sell him to Leicester for £25m. He came back and they gave him a new contract with a relegation clause. We should have taken the £25m because all we will get is half a million loan fee and save £2.5m in wages and an agreed sale price for next summer and bet it won’t be £25m. This is a massive screw up.

I believe Summerville wants out and guessing that as Drameh hasn’t been offered a new deal he will be going too, on top of Gnonto, Adams, Sinisterra et Al. Its a nightmare scenario because we are not signing bodies

Yeah and Harrison will probably have known about how many players had relegation clauses. He will have insisted on one too. Is it only me noticing the amount of gazumping going on in the transfer market. So many times a deal is agreed then another club comes in at the death and steals the player.
