I actually thought we had a tricky start on paper - the ‘winnable’ looking fixtures’ were predominantly away from home so not really that ‘winnable’. With the benefit of hindsight and how poor wolves and West Ham have been, and average Newcastle have been, it looks easier looking back on it.

Agree we have a long and difficult run of games now. Our ‘easy’ patch is march/april - and it may be too late by then. Either way, I’d much rather have had Sunderland’s start.
