We know that, however we haven’t sorted 2 of our 3 immediate priorities. Immediate priorities should be sorted first not after the season has started. That’s fair criticism.
Agreed. I understand that it's not easy, real life isn't Football Manager, but we've known for ages that we need a striker and hanging our hopes on Stewart a) getting fit, b) being the same player and c) still being here on 1st Sept is dangerous business.
We win that game yesterday with Stewart and Evans fit, but neither of them are and we can't afford to mortgage our season on what happens from month 3 onwards.

I am 100% behind the model, but there here and now needs as much attention as the future. Go and chuck some money at Bournemouth and get Kieffer Moore in, or someone of that ilk. Let's roll the dice and signa player with 50-60 Championship goals in their locker and let him drag the young lads along with him. Mowbray knows what is needed, Speakman knows what is needed but the club won't act

It's not who has come in. It's the experience and being ready for the league mate. Hemir is fine. But shouldn't be the sole number 9. He needs time and introduction to a proper league. Other lad is 18 and hardly played a senior game.

We need a proper , established striker. Someone who has played senior games.
i agree we need more, but some fans just need a little patience if the window has shut and we are still in the same position i totally agree

but at the moment

we started last season with 1 permanent striker
this season we've started with 3

disagree i it's needs sorted , but if are main targets are at club who aren't ready to let them go yet, what do you do, look at amad last season one of are best players man u weren't ready to let him go until the end of the window, clubs kept its patience and we had one of the best players in the league, don't judge a window until it's shut
It's always the case with clubs at our level. Sometimes we need to wait a wee bit longer to get certain targets. It's a risk but it will be worth it long term. The club won't panic, which is what you want. Yes massively disappointing result but we still have 45 games to go.

Should have been sorted prior to the season kicking off to hit the ground running.
In an ideal world it would be mate but it really isnt as simple as that. If we want real quality players then its likely their clubs want to get as much money as possible so want to wait till later in the market to get a deal done.

We have to be patient to get the right deal, i know its horrible for us fans as we want all business done before the season starts but most times wont have their business done by now

Lets wait n see what the next 3 weeks holds, im confident we will get a 2/3 quality additions in

Rubbish you should get all your business done like I do in fm. What's the world coming to

and tell me one club who has all the transfer business done ?
I'm not interested in other clubs, my focus is on us. We have no senior strikers available right now. The only senior striker we have seemingly wants to leave.
You say we have 3 strikers at the club, but even Mowbray has said that Mayenda isn't a viable option right now.

There has been multiple windows to get a quality centre forward in. We haven't. There comes a time where there is less waffle and more decisive action needed.

We need experience and Tone is starting to get significantly more downbeat in every interview he does.

There’s not a team in this league that has all their business wrapped up. It’s the nature of the beast.
I'll bet we are the only one without a striker

Stoke City have signed 13 players, including 2 strikers. They also won 4-1 on Sat

It can be done

You have to take into account the way the close season market moves these days. Big transfers trigger lots of other transfers further down the tree and loans rarely get done until the last minute.

There's ten clubs in the world tops who can still treat it like the old days - clubs with lots of money and lots of pull. Even Bayern Munich are waiting for Kane.

We've signed experienced strikers in a panic before and they haven't solved our problems. In fact they've made them worse in a lot of cases.

Agreed. He's starting to get worn down by the mañana mañana approach the club is taking - signing players for next season and the one after without addressing the here and now. It's very, very risky

But don’t you think we got potentially profitable players first and the ones we need last? I think overall the progress is brilliant but the manager needs the right players at the right time. All players are either free and wanting high wages or at another club. Not over yet I know, you’re right but they seem to have spent the wrong way round

I get that but folk said just sign any striker and weve signed 2 this summer so we have 3 strikers on the books now. The club cant really win with some fans, its goes from just sign anyone, to no i we meant just sign any experience striker.

As long as we are stronger at the end of the window then the start of the window, thats the main thing not whether we have all players signed by game 1

We still have 45 to go
