It is. Mowbray said at the season ticket holder talk in that Everton want to much money and then said at his press conference that two forwards were closing in on are overseasI thought the Cannon deal was dead and buried ? Thought he was going to Preston
Hes not exactly an experienced striker so wonder if folk will moan if we do sign him
Would like to see us in for Van Hooijdonk think he would add a different dimension up front that we need seems to be similar player to StewartIt is. Hopefully that Rusyn and Van Hooijdonk but Matthis Abline also been linked.
Frustrated as hell this morning. Yesterday was a wake up call for KLD and KS. I've given them a lot a latitude in recent months - when people were calling them in Jan for not signing a striker, I was on their side and understood the issues with that window, but there are no ****ing excuses now. We've had more than 6 months to line deals up for the start of the season and here we are, another failure at home and finishing the game with Dan ****ing Ballard up front - how does that align with the traditional number nine not being "as prevalent in our team as it would be in other teams in terms of how we play the game" Kristjaan?
Massive 3 weeks ahead, end it with Hemir, an injured Stewart and a Belgian 18yo who's never played senior football and we are ****ed,

It's not who has come in. It's the experience and being ready for the league mate. Hemir is fine. But shouldn't be the sole number 9. He needs time and introduction to a proper league. Other lad is 18 and hardly played a senior game.
We need a proper , established striker. Someone who has played senior games.
You don't always get your main targets before the season starts. Definitely need strengthening especially upfront and in CM. Ut I'm relaxed we'll get there.the way people are going on you would think we've signed no one

Couple in this week, do we think?

I'd be surprised if we don't have a forward in by fridayCouple in this week, do we think?
That was his first professional game. It's a balance, we all agree the approach is correct, however you can't forgive people for being upset about the forward situation as it's been a problem for donkeysIt's not who has come in. We know that, however we haven’t sorted 2 of our 3 immediate priorities. Immediate priorities should be sorted first not after the season has started. That’s fair criticism.the way people are going on you would think we've signed no one

disagree i it's needs sorted , but if are main targets are at club who aren't ready to let them go yet, what do you do, look at amad last season one of are best players man u weren't ready to let him go until the end of the window, clubs kept its patience and we had one of the best players in the league, don't judge a window until it's shutWe know that, however we haven’t sorted 2 of our 3 immediate priorities. and has the window shut ?Hemir and Mayenda?
Hemir - 1st game in senior football was yesterday and he looked miles off the pace. Not saying he won't come good, but we need him oven ready
Mayenda - 15 games in senior football, 1 goal
It's hardly inspiring is it? These lads should be 3rd and 4th choice and given time to develop in the way that Hume was in 2022 and Bennette last season. They aren't the lads who are going to get us promoted
