no wonder it took so ****ing long to sort out, he probably didn't want to make himself look a twat in the video
He’s already fit, he’s been training with us for a week and was presumably keeping himself ready before then, he just isn’t match fit.
Nice to see another sponsor for City being rolled out in the Connolly video clip - Realtor Global - a Turkish Estate Agency - https://realtorglobal.com/ You can buy an apartment in Turkiye and get Turkish citizenship included in the price.
No option for an extra year Would that mean that he's on a lowish wage but if we want to keep him we'd most likely pay him more after the first year?
But they dont The club will have to pay him what he's worth after he has chance to prove himself Seems reasonable to me
The announcement said one year deal and no mention of an option maybe there could be something complicated based on appearances but it doesnt look like there's an option by either side
The player is happy, management are happy, what’s the issue? Gives the player a chance to kick start his career (Hopefully) we only have financial commitment for a year. It seems a sensible deal to me.
'cos miserable twats on here have thought of something that the club management haven't obviously. Duh!
can you think of an example? I cant think of a player who we thought was coming to the end of his contract and then the club activated an option year
I can think of a few season long loans we made permanent in january, which seems to be effectively what this is.
Burnley have signed 5 or 6 forward players, Redmond and Andros Townsend included. Can't see Twine being a regular starter. May well be that Burnley would happily bring some money in.
Hilarious, really. Ehab and McCann got crucified for absolutely anything they did, even if it was good, and those same people think the sun shines out of Acun and Rosenior’s arse and think they can do no wrong. And I say that as someone who much prefers the current regime. If Ehab and McCann made half of the questionable decisions Acun and Rosenior have made, those sneering and calling others ‘bed-wetters’ would be in uproar.
Alfie Jones was signed on a one year deal, though I can’t remember if they said he had an option at the time. He was offered a new one at the end of that season, a two year one and they announced it then, and then again with his latest one.
Sinik finished the season with a shoulder injury which he's still recovering from. Also the Turkish season ended after ours, so he's on a different preseason timetable to the majority of the squad.
Some of us also hated the allams but took pelters for refusing to jump on the lynching bandwagon over everything they did.
