Of course, yet it’s not uncommon for players to still have some input. Just feels a bit too impulsive for PR given the situation.

I think we'll see Embo stay ahead of Pritchard and Matete. Embleton could play in a 3 in the middle, No.10 and off the wing IF needed.

seen my first facebook complaint about the club and the striker situation (btw, the lad is an exile and certainly puts the miles in to go to the games) ...i expected nowt to happen during the tour as TM and others had a good look at what they have.

being honest, the striker situation is not good but i am sure the club are looking into it, anyone with a decent strike rate will start at a premium fee and wages (some will have agents that think the player is worth a lot more than they are) and most will not want a '2nd fiddle' role, LND is a difficult one to sort and personally i feel it might be better to take a decent offer and replace (not an easy task) because, as it stands, we have a player who is getting towards the end of a pretty bad injury that might affect his game, there is no indication of how long it will be before he gets into full training then how long to get fully up to game speed and any slight niggle could knock him back a couple of weeks so potentially we could be looking the end of the year before we really find out if the 'old LND' returns.

currently, i would prefer to see any contract situations sorted, giving the club time to 'find and replace', loans will not be really thought about until the premier clubs have sorted themselves out..could be the last week or two before we see any more new names in the club.

Like I say mate, not sure how he’s ended without a club.

Reading a bit like like might have been financial Blackburn end.

Good late runner and goal scorer though mad he hasn’t been picked up.

I know this is totally random but anyone recommend a good car detailed/paint restorer local to Sunderland/Shields?

They can be a GK as well if it helps.

Eddie Burke in Franklin Street ('Sheels) has a very good reputation, Nads.

I used him decades ago (when cars used to have resprays) and he's still popular :emoticon-0148-yes:

Not good enough in my opinion. Rather keep Matete and Pritchard ahead of Embleton.

Embleton is a better footballer than Matete mind.

Don't think we've seen enough of Matete & I'm sure he's come back from his loan a better player.
Embo is too inconsistent. Late sub at best for me.

Essentially as I’ve said they’re mate a full detail but with paint restoration, few surface scratches in the lacquer. Barely noticeable but I know they are there and I’m arsey with things like that ha.

Have couple small dents as well which have appeared outta nowhere but will get those done separately, again you gotta be looking.

Either half his value or 10x his valuation depending on what he’s like post injury. I honestly can’t see any team bidding now until January. By then we should have a good idea of his fitness and form and of where we are in terms of possible promotion.
I don’t think he will even know where he will want to be.

Noone is giving us £7m for an injured player with one year left on his contract and a handful of Championship games under his belt. If he goes in the summer we'd do well to get £3m+ imo

I have a feeling Embleton's best chance of playing at this level is at Sunderland ...

... I don't see anyone thinking he's the answer to their midfield problems tbh.

He just doesn't seem to be dedicated or focused enough, shame as he has talent.

I'd have Pritchard over Embleton any day of the week.
