Transfer Rumours Summer '23 Transfer Thread

They got back from Turkiye on Tuesday night and have had a day off Wednesday.

They usually drop announcements on a Friday. About 5pm. Everything's stage managed these days.

 

I think this is one of the biggest City transfer myths going. People are always saying that we'll announce a signing on the hour, on the right day, combine two signings together in a bulk announcement, and so on. It never ends up happening. We announce them when they're done.

 

To be fair I think they’ll have waited for the media team to get back from Turkey for Vinagre

 

Yeah I can understand Vinagre being delayed because everyone was in Turkey, so would expect him announced today.

 

Also love the Botanic crew leaking transfer news to social media straight from Acun. Looks like we've certainly learned from last season how to operate in a professional manner.

If that's all then that's fine, but the specificity of 4 more incomings isn't great to make public in that manner.

Baz has already said they want 2 wingers, a 10, a keeper and a replacement for Toby. I'm sure he's also mentioned a midfielder to replace Woods if he goes too.

 

I would assume the 4 is excluding any replacements.

Absolute nonsense article in term of likelihood, except Baz probably asked to run it by Tan to reenforce to any interested buyers that Greavies is available for the right price.

Why are you surprised? We signed him on a free transfer and he's scored one goal. He's also been injured for large parts of last season.

lovely city...Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain. That round building that's falling down. The Pantheon and all those idyllic squares. All within easy walking distance.....I'd go tomorrow. It's only a couple of hours on CheapJet. And loads of those cheap pension places to crash....Plus some nice beers and ice cream.
