Old man Allam didn’t get much right in the pr side of things etc
But
He was very clear
Steve Bruce is the manager and he’s in charge of all the football side of things
As it is at all the best clubs
As soon as silly **** ehab knew better and meddled it went tits up

to pretend it’s good and acun should comment on footballing targets or recruitment is ****ing stupid and him passing on info via blokes from a pub ffs no
At least now when people say ‘I heard this down the pub’ there could be an element of truth in it :emoticon-0126-nerd::emoticon-0126-nerd: it makes a change from the ‘Snooker Club’ or ‘Our Kid’.

Luton are basically just signing good Championship players for when they inevitably go down.

Surely nobody is going to bet against Luton staying up. They had no business being at the top end of the Championship but they were and for a few years.
I'm waiting for Stephen Toast's prediction on that. Last season he was spot on telling us that all three promoted PL clubs would stay up. :emoticon-0125-mmm:

Can't really compare the 2 (or 3) though.
Old man Allam knew absolutely nothing about football (and was a bit of a ****, in relation to our club).
Silly **** Ehab also knew next to nothing about football, but thought & pretended he did, and was a massive **** . )
Neither chose to install a Tan equivalent.
Acun knows a lot about football, being a massive fan and student of the game, having had previous experience, etc. And he's wise enough (although it doesn't really take much wisdom) to have people like Tan around him.
There is however a balance that he needs to be careful to maintain, between being hands on / hands off.
I think KT is spot on saying "Still feel very positive about the direction of the club but it seems to me both Liam and Acun/Tan are still on a steep (& costly*) learning curve". (* added text).

Seems like a punt on a kid who's got some raw abilities but its never really worked for him yet. Can't argue on it for free really. Socks on
Agree.
Although 4 in 14 in Turkish SL for one of the lessor teams is pretty decent.
Maybe that loan move was a turning point.
Enough people keep giving Allayhar the benefit of the doubt (and I too hope he comes good), so why not this lad too?
Hopefully the club have unearthed a bargain gem.
TWT.

Why can’t I compare
Of course I can
Brian Clough left derby because the idiot owner interfered in the team
Man U fans hate the glazers, fergie said they left him to do the football side and that’s his demand always
Numerous other examples of interfering chairmen ****jng it up

To be fair he’s not necessarily interfering he’s just being open. Didn’t give names just said we are close to signing a winger. Which was branded all over HDM and Turkish media anyway.

Unless he is way better than Longman, Vaughan, Allahyar, Covil, Jarvis & Sinik, I don't see the point. If under 21, he wouldnt count towards squad numbers, but he isn't. Prepared to be proved wrong but underwhelmed so far.
