Cesare Casadei is attracting the interest of 3 Championship clubs apparently. I'd like to hope we're one of them. I think he has a break out season in him at this level next season.

I have never heard of a buy back clause where the player doesn't get a choice if he wants to go or not.

 

Cirkin will have the choice, Spurs just have an agreed fee - up to Cirkin if he goes or not (If Spurs bid for him).

 

He can't be forced back but if he or the club decide to move him on within his initial contract which in this case I believe was an initial three years Spurs would get first refusal at the initial agreed buy back price. If club or player do not wish to move and the set time frame runs out the it makes no difference (Spurs can only force the buy back Cirkin or the club were looking for a transfer and it looks in this case that neither of these are happening)

 

Do Spurs get the balance if another club bids more? Like if Spurs bid their agreed to 6, but Aston Villa bids 20? In that case we would be hoping he picks Villa (?)

 

We get 6m from Spurs, Spurs would get 20m from Villa so Spurs end up plus 14m is how I'd see it.

 

100%, again I think if Cirkin turned down the Spurs contract we would get the £20 million (i think)

 

There will be more to this than meets the eye, purely because Levy is involved but in my simple head that's how I'd read it.
