I'm not sure what you're arguing here. I've never said the Turkish League was great, it isn't, nor is it as good as the Dutch League. I was merely saying that we should centre our recruitment around leagues we know extensively. I thought this was common sense to be honest. Huddersfield had success by exploiting the German 2nd Division as have Norwich, Brentford used the Scandinavian leagues extremely well, and they aren't particularly strong leagues either. The knowledge of the league is probably more important than the overall strength of a league (within reason)
I wouldn't mind betting there's more Dutch who've played in the English leagues than Turks and Yanks combined.
