Should howe just play weak sides vs Bournemouth and Liverpool to make sure his best 11 is available on the 26th ?

There was a reset on matchday 20 to yellow cards. Personally would go with same line up. Man Utd are at bigger risk of burn out than ours, this is a game our lot can use to learn how to break down stubborn defences would be my line of thinking.

I'd also be sending them out with the message that they are now playing for their places.

I'm sure Joelinton is close like 2 away so might get rested tomorrow or vs pool if he gets one tomorrow.

I just think newcastle should go after the cup personally. It's the 1sr final in 24 years and 1st pot in what 70 years?

I understand top 4 is where the money is but knowing our luck botman trippier isak and Wilson will get hamstring injuries they'll lose the cup final and miss out on 4th .

I just think every game is difficult and we've looked dodgy for a little while . I'd still suggest newcastle will win, but people have started counting chickens.

The blessing is that Howe ain't Bruce and will recognise this instead of rejoicing at the fact he got a point.

So for me this isn't the start of something worrying, so much as a point where Howe and the team will have a reality check and adjust accordingly.
