the mags need a striker after yesterdays laugh, £30m for Ross should do us ! Mcburnie, Sheff u to replace Stewart (if he leaves) or dare i dream Mitrovic.
I am with you mate. He can finish, and gets into good positions but some of the basics are not yet locked in. His first touch isnt secure, like at Wigan which led to their goal. That needs work, and the ability to move it quickly. I think he will have a good career at championship level, whether he can go higher is down to the coaching and game time over the next 12 to 18 months. Crucial for him.Mebees I'm being a bit harsh - I just found the lad infuriating to watch at times.

As in “let’s see if we can get a few quid for him”?Ellis , see you soon mate.
This is a Everton plan
And only 21 too. First ever run of games in a senior side. If we didn’t have Stewart, I reckon there’d be no negative comments around him.Aye a bit soft, sometimes not the best first touch. But still 7 goals in 17 games in a tough league, not bad at all for an inexperienced 21 year old. Someone worth developing imo.

yepLatest from Lamps says he doesn't know where hes going to be involved!
They've taken him back to try and flog him haven't they? Leverage for a Stewart deal? Or perhaps Cov for Gyokeres?
That's the thing, some people will only ever look at goals strikers score as the only factor in whether they are any good, the lad also had a few injuries when he was here but without him and his goals we would still be in L1Think it’s harsh to judge him on performances for a really poor team. Stewart only scored 2 goals for Ross County the season we signed him. Its all about seeing something in a player that would benefit your team, rather than judging a player based on how they perform for a different team. Broadheads finishing ability is superb but if Wigan are lumping the ball towards him there’s not much he can do is there?
Simms must be really pleased that his parent club manager has come out with that.Latest from Lamps says he doesn't know where hes going to be involved!

I've been wishing Everton well just because of Pickford. No more. Wrecking a player's development in an act of desperation - beyond poor.
Pickford is wasted there imo. Only a matter of time before he moves on to bigger and better. Everton are going backwards.

Last report I read said that a contract had been agreed but Everton were stalling on it being signed
Maybe waiting to see what division they are going to be in. Interesting this week that Emery has had a little pop at Martinez and Pickford has been linked with a move to Villa. Could be the press putting 2 + 2 together and making 5, of course.
Happy new year everyone.
