There's a Stokie comes here to his parents caravan, was slagging us off last season to me and I laughed him off. He's got his Stoke badge tattooed on his calf and was giving it large.
I said "yerv got shìt runnin down yer leg there mate" and he looked<laugh>
He's up today apparently so I can't wait :D

Update. He wouldn't come out to play when I went past walking the dog.
Muttered something like "go away" from the other side of the window <laugh>

Unfortunately your correct marra, but what I saw on Saturday made Sunderland look like Hollywood

I used to do a lot of driving to stoke as a lorry driver over 30 years ago.
There was a few main streets where the cars actually looked the same colour but it was the thick grime covering them. I'm not joking.
But I generally found them pretty friendly tbh.
There's a few on the site here. One I get on well with is a Port Vale fan. And funny enough his dad was originally from North Shields.
Like someone mentioned, a lot from the North East moved that way. My dad went to Nottingham with the NCB first .

There were a lot from Stoke moved to a town in wales many many years ago because of it's potteries and brick making .

Haven't been for many years but
I heard off someone from Stoke that it's gone further down hill over the last years due to gangs of foreigners.

You can tell him his manager has been sacked ...

Maybe not. But things are clearly changing there. Much is happening, and usually in this type of thing, one good thing attracts another. I'm not aware of any such change in Stoke mind.
They have to be. I mean, the Saudi Newcastle take over is good for the north east. The mags said it so must be true….

I reckon they'd have more chance of plaiting sawdust or knitting fog.

Why would Neil leave SAFC? He’s at a club currently looking up. A club getting players in and playing good football. A club who have taken him in. Also a club attracting crowds of over 30k regularly. Why go to stoke who, let’s be honest, had around 12000 against us and 3000 of them were safc fans (regardless of the attendance figures) who are currently at loggerheads with the owners (from what I’ve seen) and in no way a bigger or better proposition. Preston blocked his move, I’d hope SAFC do the same
