What else can we do? Oh aye, play Hemir or Burstow. No thanks.

Thats pretty depressing to see and a harsh reality in how we are being run as a club

Point taken however Cirkin, Evans, Roberts and Embleton are still here but injured. I would suggest that the first 3 would play if fit. They would make a significant difference.

A massive lack of context there. 6 of them are still at the club with 4 of them being injured, Wright is completely done as a player, Gooch and Batth wouldn't be playing, Pritchard asked to leave, Stewart is injured long term.

Keeping them players wouldn't lead to us being a better team.

Agreed. Some of them currently still here but not fit would improve us immediately. It does show how young we are now compared to then (which dan he good and bad of course) and significantly that there’s a player who can lead the line effectively.

Compare that with the team that beat Luton in the first leg of the playoffs last season though and it's not that different. Same midfield of Neil and Ekwah but a back four of Roberts at LB, Gooch at RB and Trai Hume and O'Nien at CB. When everyone is fit we're definitely stronger than that side. You can't avoid injuries though
