Alfie Mawson, who was once called up to the England national team, just signed for Wycombe on a free transfer after being released by Fulham (they paid £20m for him).
I’m sure some Championship team will be paying a fee for him next summer if he’s still as good as he was at Swansea.
They may have, but as I said. They don't seem keen to want to spend that on going much higher on greaves
I think so, he was in Fulham's Premier League team a few seasons ago, I wouldn't have complained if we had taken him on a free.
Oh good you can make a stop in Toronto and check to see if Richie Laryea wants to change his mind about playing for Ciry
I remember him at Barnsley and wrongly assumed he’d come through their youth ranks. He’s a London boy by the look and probably happy to stay down there, he’s been on loan at Wycombe before.
Hasn’t he played for England? His recent injury record is terrible though has played 17 games since 19/20 season
Harvey Elliott has signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool which ties the midfielder to the club until 2027.
Does anyone understand what Shota is trying to say about Greaves here? I can't decipher his riddles https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0csj2s1
I think Shota is resigned to the fact if a big enough offer arrives for Greaves he will be gone, Greaves' agents have been sounding out Prem League teams. I suspect a Prem League club will outbid Boro in the end and offer him a better contract as well.
I could just about live with him going to a Prem club (except the obvious one), but even of he won't sign I wouldn't be selling him to another championship club
And to think it was not the long ago that Greaves himself said he couldn't wait to sign a new contract...
I like Greaves , I defended him last season when people complained about all his mistakes , but is he really good enough for the Premier League now after 1 season in the Championship ?
