Be nice if it was Levi Colwil. Or Luke Mbete.

Bloody hell, I thought she’d retired. Surely the Doc will outmuscle her?

How is this a transfer nugget? No names.
There are 559 Premier League players.
Assume we won't be signing anyone from a starting 11 leaves 339 players.
    And neither are agreed.

This is just Tan trying to boost ticket sales.

I could be completely off the mark, but…

    I’ve narrowed it down to:

Kebano (Fulham), Knockaert (Fulham), Onomah (Fulham), Lolley (Nottingham Forest), Grabban (Nottingham Forest), Ghoddos (Brentford), Cairney (Fulham), Albrighton (Leicester).

I have a feeling it could be Ghoddos. Iran link with Sayyadmanesh.

Kebano, Cairney and Albrighton are very unlikely, of course.

Position wise I feel like most of them are not number 10s but I like the Onomah suggestion. Fulham want to move him on.

Yes I’d agree. Though with some of them being wingers and getting on a bit (in footballing terms), it’s common for them to move to a more AMC position when they’ve lost that pace.

Smallwood was in the top 20 for the division, there just aren't that many tackles nowadays. The ball is won by harrying the opposition into a mistake or intercepting a pass. That's why size is not that important any more for midfield players.

Well i would not fancy our chances with couple of players like Peter Dinklage and Warwick Davis i definitely think we would be over run.

Yeah but they're not dwarves are they? Also, height doesn't take into account jumping ability. KLP was frequently one of the shortest players in the box but managed to score plenty of headers, simultaneously Greaves has yet to score despite being a strapping 6ft 3 lad.

A great header of the ball was Nicky Barmby, he wasn't a that tall but he had a leap on him and his timing was spot on...

Watch clips of Pele soaring above everyone else to head a ball and he was only 5’8”.

Exactly, for people to suggest our midfield can't be combative because they're lacking a few inches of shin bone is a bit daft.

So, anyone got any more suggestions who the mystery number 10 could be? Or who they’d like it to be?

I wasn't referencing you or anybody in particular, just the general conversation that's taken up the last eight pages or so. Sorry if it came across that way.
