Just as in the new owners thread there is a conflict between the ITKers and those who don't pick up the tiniest hint of rumour and make it into a done deal.

If you know what I mean.

I think there’s only one genuine person with regular insights. There are many more BS merchants begging for attention & their egos to be fed by the gullible.

On the 30th July at 3pm there will be 11 players on the pitch and half a dozen on the bench representing Hull City.

Don't really care where they came from, their stats, how much they cost or how much they get paid as long as they give their best and don't **** about.

Sydney is one of those people that love the last word and can't resist a nibble at the bait.
I see this as a problem in understanding other posters and clarity on his part in responding. So many of his initial posts require additional explanation. It is incredible how much back and forth is generated in discussions/debates between him and others with almost every dialogue. Clarity is often lacking in the first instance. This leads to the "must have the last word" syndrome being exhibited.

From that Honeyman interview it didn't necessarily seem like he wanted us to match Milwall's offer, but just to make him feel wanted by giving him a reasonable contract offer, which we didn't. As he said, that's fine, he left as a result and we move on, but it was clearly about the way we went about negotiating a deal with him that put him off.

He wanted parity with the incomings and to feel he had an equal chance of selection when everyone's fit. The club obviously felt he wasn't worth what was earmarked for incomings so he left. What part of that don't you get?

Would any of our squad players be interested in Turkey?

I'd assume unless your playing for the big teams in Turkey you'd get a better wage in the championship... Unless he meant on loan

I'm more surprised teams in Turkey want Cannon/Smith etc.
Would be a good experience for them, i'd certainly take it over league 1/2

Who and how is anyone going to sort the Shiite from the rumours, guesswork, speculation, lies, bullshit, and the tiny bit of truth that gets posted on here?

Lambo when he updates the first page. It's the only thing you need to check on this thread if you're not interested in rumours, links, speculation and everything else that comes with a transfer thread on a discussion forum.

According to his first interview, Millwall came in to talk to him just after the season ended, before we’d triggered his extension, it was then the first offer, then the second offer, then he was off. It appeared to me at the time that Millwall had already talked figures, we didn’t match it & then he left!

Do they want our players or are they doing a favour for the owner....

I'm not sure which players Tan was referring to when he said there was interest fromTurkey, but regardless I doubt we'd need a favour to shift them. Any squad players will likely be on quite low wages and we'd be able to drum up some interest from the football league surely

If thats what happened then it's just the usual cut and thrust of transfer business. Club had a valuation and stuck to it. It happens hundreds of times. Every window at all clubs. It's the assumption that something untoward on the part of the club that I can't get my head around. It's just business if the player thinks his interests are better served elsewhere.

Or is Tan just trying to talk up a market for them in a 'come and get them' kind of way?
