He's a decent player and looked good against us but I don't see why people think he'd be a good signing yet Sinik is an iffy one.

He wouldn't be a cheap loan and doubt Brighton would let him go permanently so I hope it's not him
Probably because they’ve heard of Khadra…

He’d be a decent signing but nowt special

Figs is the experienced leader brought into improve them further. If we're playing a back 3 it will be Jones, Figs and Greaves as first choice. Jones is very well regarded at the club and made fewer mistakes than Greaves when he played.

Defensive record in a side that was constantly defending last year got pretty close to playoff standard as it was.
And will get better

Sinik’s absence explained…
Though initially expected to be out here in Spain, Hull Live understands the Turkish international is working to obtain his visa to enable him to operate in England. And owing to the lengthy process it currently takes in the UK, Sinik has gone to a British consulate elsewhere in Europe to speed up the process.

Andy Smith, meanwhile, has been feeling a bit unwell over recent days and sat out training on Tuesday, but hopes to be back on the grass on Wednesday,

The same might explain delays in other announcements. Strange though that he's doing the visa stuff if he hasn't even passed a medical yet as claimed on here earlier. You'd have thought the home office would want that and the contract side of it done before they issue anything - otherwise its just an application based on heresay.

Considering we've already got Longman, who's more than decent and Sinik coming in who are both left wingers, I don't want to see us just bringing in another body. I know Khedra can also play in the attacking midfield role, but I must say, I was hoping for somebody better

I think it's the wrong move and has shades of Bowen's potential move to Cardiff. It's a fantastic deal for us but I don't get what Brentford are doing at that price.

For what it's worth, I don't think it'll work out straight away
Brentford have always done really well with their wheeling and dealing though. That's why they are where they are now?

They have but they can't fish in the same markets any more, they need players ready for the Prem, whereas, they made a fortune by buying players from lesser leagues and flogging them for huge sums.

The new work permit rules have knackered them too as it's unlikely players like Benrahma would get a work permit as he was playing in Ligue 2 so wouldn't qualify.

They're in an awkward position, but their transfer strategy is undoubtedly changing and who knows whether it will be as successful.

Losing Eriksen is a hammer blow too and they have to be amongst the favourites to go down

Can't believe he's got a 6 year deal from them. Great talent but not quite the finished article!

Wonder if it has yearly increases in it as well

Could turn out to be a world beater but if he doesn't it's a long time he's on the books. Well done to his agent.
