The good news / feel good factor keeps rolling.

Contract offers in and appear (in Gooch's case) accepted nice and and early.
Talks with Everton already happening
Rough Pre season plans communicated
Season tickets back on sale and going very well
Confirmation on Alex Neil's continuation and all parties happy with the 12 month rolling contract
Rumours of changes / investment in the board room
Rumours of decent young players being linked
Home kit due for release before the start of the summer holidays (end of June I think I saw)

I've been far to excited since last Saturday and it's not slowing down. This really does feel like the start of something incredibly special

What is this professionalism all about? Its almost like people are doing their job? When was the last time that happened?

I don't think it's ever happened before.

Murray tried but didn't have the money to employ enough people.

Short tried but had too much money and employed too many people to run the club in his absence.

KLD has appointed good people to run the club but has a constant presence ...

... people who insist on talking about the minor shareholders are missing the big picture imo.

Agree and I can see at least one of those minor shareholders getting kicked into touch sooner rather than later.

I'd expect something to happen before the start of the new season, which isn't long.

KLD is smart and his family are surrounded by top lawyers ...

... Donald & Methven have

It’s a quick turnaround really isn’t it, if we gonna clean up the ownership situation and reshape the playing side in time for the season.

I know the jury still out to a degree on Speakman, but his comments re the ownership were relaxing.

Either way KLD is gonna back us. Even the social team changing ‘til the end’ to ‘just the start’, things like that speak to me.

From the way contracts are being agreed I'd think this process started a while back tbh.

Aye, I mean the year before they were very open about trying to hold onto a bit in case we went up, seems clear was always in the plans.

Also explains a little, to me personally, why KLD wasn’t fully transparent initially about the split, as he knew it would change.

Whether it’s KLD himself or one of these ridiculously wealthy, smart and sharp Swiss family allies that comes along, we are good.

Just seen this posted on Twitter, mainly about dum and dummer still being around but one of the comments finished with...

"Personally I'd like to see a complete takeover from a outside investor that wants to take the club forward because tbh I don't really trust any of them. I think the groan around Wembley when KLD was put on the big screen sums up what people think of them so fingers crossed something changes and we move forward."

Really, a load of crap as far as I'm concerned, suggesting that a large part of the fans don't want KLD. Some people need to boil their heads!
There was no moan at Wembley it's just some little stirrer trying to create a story

KLD has a trust fund worth £3bn?

That's gone up then, as I'm sure it was around £2bn when he arrived.

But it's not oodles of cash that will get this club back operating properly again. It's doing the right things as often as we can, and it looks like we are on the way.
Think he does not get his money till he is 25, which is December

almost 'instant' updates regarding transfers/contracts and even pre-season news (i expect a little more action in that dept.) where it usually just goes quiet after the final game with snippets coming from the club 'if and when', seems to be a concious effort to keep some news ticking over, keep the interest high.

those who keep insisting 'nothing has changed' are living in the old cloud cuckoo land and really need to open their eyes and look at the big picture...the club is simply looking and sounding more professional as it goes along.

All good!

Apart from AN still being in a revolving door. If that's the case, I couldn't say I'm happy with it. He has obviously done enough to warrant a proper , say three year deal. If the club think he hasn't its a worry. If AN doesn't want one, that's a worry too.

Nah he gets a bonus and a pay rise. Personally I would not give him a 3 year contract, rolling 12 month for me.

I know where you’re coming from but a 12 month rolling contract might wear lighter on the shoulders than a 3 year one. If you know what I mean.

Playing for, and managing us, comes with a lot of pressure so the rolling contract might lighten the load.
