It was a good read until then. Should have read the thread earlier <laugh>

We're all the same really in that we are all dedicated fans who support our club through thick and thin and deserve any good luck that comes our way. Obviously I want us to win but, if we don't, good luck to you back in the Championship, and who knows <cheers>

It shows how single minded and determined Neil is tbh.

He's shown that he'll play, or not play, exactly who he thinks is the most suitable.

If he'd dropped every player we've collectively demanded there'd be no Patterson*, Gooch, Cirkin, Evans, Clarke, Roberts, Pritchard, etc.

I'm happy to go along with whoever he puts on the pitch tbh <laugh>

* My contribution
I think what he's done since he's come in has earned him the right to pick who he wants and we should all have faith in his decisions because times he has admitted himself he did get the set up right but what he is extremely good at is realising early what isn't working, but more importantly he ses to know how to fix it

Does he have to change the set-up for this game.

The Wycombe thugs will have seen how we play and may make plans accordingly. So does Neil spring a surprise?

I honestly believe Neil will have plans a,b,c and probably d for this one.

Ainsworth will be guessing how we line up and who's starting, especially now we have just played a back 4 in the semi finals, which we haven't for ages

From the Wycombe forum ...

"I’d be very surprised if Sunderland aren’t getting at least 4k-5k of extra tickets (from the 9k difference between our maximum allocation and their starting allocation) and possibly a lot more."

Sunderland and Wycombe general sale windows start at exactly the same time on Monday, so suspect this is deliberate to stop Sunderland fans buying in the Wycombe end if there is no need.

Guess we’ll have a better idea when we see what blocks are released for us next - if it’s the top tier rather than further round in the bottom tier.

I'm a bit surprised at the moaning on some places about the tickets, yes a perfect seat and view would be ideal, but surely the biggest thing is that your in the ground?

I logged on this morning and if able (I'm not till tomorrow) I could have got 5 tickets sat together in the very top section. Not the best from what I can gather but better than missing out?

Some people are complaining about f**k all tbh.

If you want a perfect view, no one around you standing and with access to toilets and beer ...

... stay the f**k at home and watch in on TV you moaning tw*ts <doh>

It's being there that counts, could hardly see much in 73, being vertically challenged, but felt every kick and header!

Exactly mate, it was chaos at Hillsborough, on Monday, and everyone was standing, people in the aisles, etc ...

... I loved every minute and watched the actual game on Tuesday night when I got home.

I think he may set the team up similar to the last one formation wise but game plan my be slightly different.
I thought on Monday we looked comfortable at the back for most of the game but think we'll push forward a lot more.
I think our wingers will be key, because of the big pitch they will have space to run at the full backs and also our wing backs if that's what he goes with and pushing on.
I'm sure Neil will have different plans for different parts of the game but I think he'll also have different plans in place to change the whole structure if he needs.
I know it has been decided whether VAR will be used in the final yet, I know we didn't want it against Sheff Wed I wonder if the club would want it for the final considering Wycombe would have probably had about 10 goals this season disallowed for obstructing the keeper if the ref had been able to watch things back on a screen.
I'm not really a fan of VAR but I'm not sure what I would decide in this instance

We were in the top tier last time, when we first got to our seats we felt miles away but actually it was an unbelievable view, the players weren't like little dots you could see everything perfectly

Don’t think the pitch is any bigger than ours, might be wrong though.
