Ingrates sounds like a nickname for a seriously pissed off football team.
They are more appropriate, more common sense, I believe Boris would have been in line this time but he wouldn’t have got it past his own MP’s , he needed Labour to even get Plan B through. I meant at least Drakeford sticks to the rules unlike BorisCan you tell me why they are better ?
And I think most in the UK, unlike Boris, have stuck to the rules.
to be honest Ashton, although not compulsary over here, wife uses buses a couple or more times a week ... moans about maybe 2 or 3 peeps out of 15 or so not wearing masks... been on bus 3 times [last 3 months pre Christmas ] into out of Bristol twice rush hour coming home on packed bus most wearing mask's .. All windows open. Been shopping about 6 or more times hardly anyone not wearing a mask maybe 2 in 9 or 10 ? more staff dont seem to mind you.... THE intelligent people are getting to grips with the new order of things. We’ve had work from home where possible most of the time - why wouldn’t you?
We’ve wore masks in shops and public transport most of the time - why wouldn’t you? , hence Drakeford is pretty much universally thought to have dealt with it better and in a more mature way . I guess it helps he sticks to the rules
You’ve answered your own question surely , you say 99% of people wear masks anyway- surely that suggests to keep it as mandatory is the mature thing to do, encouraging the rouge 1% to wear them also. I don’t think many in Wales consider they live in a Nanny state, there’s nothing Nanny state about doing the sensible thing.Ashton
'They are more appropriate, more common sense'
In your, and Drakeford's view.
Is Wales covid rates better than England ? I honestly don't know so I ask respectfully.
'We’ve wore masks in shops and public transport most of the time - why wouldn’t you? '
I do and 99% of all of the folk I see do as well.
'Drakeford is pretty much universally thought to have dealt with it better and in a more mature way'
Are you sure ? To some it seems he likes a Nanny state.
Don't get me wrong Boris's shortcomings are coming out for all to see, and I believe he's had it.
He's pissed me right off but I'm glad I live this side of the bridge living under our different rules and regulations.
surely that suggests to keep it as mandatory is the mature thing to do,
It’s a difficult one isn’t it?, I’m not really in favour, but can see the benefits. I’m torn tbhIs there a mature case for mandatory jabs ?
I wouldn't be averse to mandatory jabs but can't see it happening.
Scotland under Furher Sturgeon has been ridiculous these past few weeks. Football being played in empty stadiums that are largely open to the elements, with plenty of fresh air available, but people have been allowed to visit shopping malls and be all over each other.Dickford is a pain, he seems to like doing to opposit to Boris. But in hindsight it has worked more in his favour with mask wearing throughout the past months. But there was a time in the beginning of the pandemic it was compulsory in England but not Wales.
Be interesting to see the empty stadium ban lifted just in time for 6 nations.
I would be surprised if it isn’t, I actually like Drakeford at least he seems sincere & well meaning, unlike somebody else I could mention.Dickford is a pain, he seems to like doing to opposit to Boris. why?Well… apparently it’s now wrong to use the word midget!! Ffs!!!
Just Google midget and M&S. Apparently it is a term now that is often classified as offensive!!!
Afternoon folks.... Don't pop on here too often but occasionally I get drawn in to the debates you guys have...Just Google midget and M&S. Apparently it is a term now that is often classified as offensive!!!

I'm not sure what the M&S midget row is about (but will take a look out of curiosity) but I did see Man It's have apparently ripped into a section of their fans for abusive chanting directed at Wolves Moutinho (excuse spelling)... By all accounts the chant was something to do with him being vertically challenged (or being a short guy myself, as I was once described... Being a low down bum).
Let's face it, society is constantly looking for reasons to be annoyed and offended these days (or as it's always described in the media, shocked and appalled...no one can be mildly offended or irked nowadays).

Funnily enough, just been looking at a Kuga... In red sadly though and a miserly 1.5 litre engine.Hmm........BBB. Venturing across here can be dangerous pal. They're generally not a bad bunch, but don't mention your X5.........![]()
Banter.... A soon to be archived phrase along with all other "hate" speech as decreed by the minority masses who appear to be able to sway things.STICKS AND STONES ... Tuesday's Wednesdays Thursdays Sundays I venture out with 3 different groups, all with the same purpose/pursuit. "banter" is rife and often personal, but never angry... to anyone on their first visit it can be down right alarming [ plenty warnings of the drift of conversations/ comments usually precede ] but never fail to get a reaction... We tend nowadays to give them a week or two to get used to it before "dragging them in"
