I think your thinking that I think that he thinks I’m disagreeing is an interesting thought that needs thinking about, I think.
Feel free to point out precisely where I said that, Mr Strollopopolous. All I said was that I assumed Mr R. Boy would support Starmer’s position on lockdowns on the basis that he’s a Labour supporter and hasn’t tweeted any opposition to restrictions in the past; he’s overtly supported his staff during such periods. Rather fascinatingly, I based my assumption on the evidence of Nevo’s tweets. Somewhat daft of me, right?
He's overtly supported his staff! Whatever next, footballers feeding hungry kids? You've made a lot of assumptions, Ubes, and seem to have come to the conclusion that, as Neville is a Labour supporter (I have no idea if he actually is or not - I don't read his tweets), he has no right to suggest that Johnson has lost all credibility, something that the whole country can see. Col's post intimated the same.
He calls out the government for what it is, especially on Covid. I can’t see him being a rabid Labourite just off the back of that. Burnham does seem to do a good job up there though.
I posted his original tweet without comment because I agreed with him. I was clear that I was making assumptions. You, of course, are at liberty to disagree with them. Anything else, or can we move on?
You must be the only person in the country that doesn't know Neville is a staunch Labour supporter, Strolls. Over the summer, it was reported that Starmer was grooming him for political office, possibly replacing Andy Burnham. He's free to criticise Boris Johnson to the hilt of course, but he does so in light of his well-known political position.
I agreed with him too. I was simply (somewhat mischievously) pointing out that he's hardly likely to ever praise the Tories. He was right on this....a little like a stopped clock is right twice a day.
Not my position on Johnson and his hangers on at all. I can handle errors during unprecedented times, but not the lies and double standards.
Well he resisted locking down again and according to the news new data suggest it doesn’t seem that bad as some predicted… leaves Captain Hindsight in a difficult position as he wanted a 20 year lockdown.
That is a bit what it's like dealing with you, Col. You post some bollocks and I can declare it to be so safe in the knowledge that you won't respond. Quite good fun.
