Bugger, if it was timber you could have just put 10mm battens on the concrete, would have raised the floor level but would have saved a **** load of workIt's lvt, but the rigid core stuff.
Good luck mate, will look great when finished.Loved this thread last year, and so pleased @Smug in Boots has brought it back again this year.
I've re-read the thread again from the beginning, and loved seeing everyone's trees and dogs, and just enjoyed the "feel-good" nature of the thread.
My tree is still in the loft, (still decorated, but I've refined the "cover"....it's now wrapped in clingfilm rather than bin bags) and will need to stay there for at least another week or so. We are getting new flooring put down in the living room, dining room and kitchen. I've took up about 55sqm of laminate, and spent this weekend struggling to get 16sqm of lino up, that has been fully stuck down. The whole lot needs screeding, so need to get all the furniture out....so the tree will have to wait a bit.
I will put some pics up once the tree is up (or down?), but at the minute, Christmassy it is not!!

These are wonderful mate. The bandstand at the right of the picture above was transformed into Santa's workshop last year. What a job they done...looks so real.
It's quite humbling to think they do this, not because they have to, but because they want to.
The patients love looking out on a night when it is all lit up.

Update on a previous post....
The poxy lino is all up now....can't believe they glued the whole twatting lot down. Took a day off work Friday and spent that and Saturday getting the rest of it up. Had to use a multitool....slow progress!! Spent today taking all the skirting off.
Screeding on Tuesday and Thurday, floor down on Friday.
Definately getting the tree down on Saturday, but in the meantime I've done this...just to make it a bit "Christmassy".
