I couldn't give a shiny ****e. I'd read that thread a few times, and it was crystal clear that no matter what happened, Hamilton would be right and victimised, and everyone else would be wrong, so I've not bothered sharing my words of wisdom. Each time I've watched in pub, there are few if any backing Hamilton, because he's a pompous prick.
Yes he was very gracious in defeat. As was his father. Unlike Verstappen last week walking walking of the stage like a spoilt kid.
Aye, they're Hamilton centric over there but Hamilton was clearly the faster driver today. I don't know why you feel the need to attack his character but people enjoy things in different ways so you be you, I guess.
Possibly the same way others attack Verstappens character, but few flag that as an issue. If he's pushed as sports 'personality' then his character is fair game. It's irrelevant any way, as it's my opinion, and I'm entitled to base that on whatever basis I choose. It seems plenty of others do the same, which is acting to the detriment of F1.
I can't speak for others, I have little interest in the characters of any sports "personalities". I'd suggest that whatever tavern you are frequenting is to your detriment.
He's led most laps this season, he's earned that middle finger. As I said earlier, it's just a **** way to end the season.
