Bowl 1 1tspn smoked paprika 1tspn hot chili powder 1/2 tspn dried onion 1/2 tspn garlic granules 1/2 tspn white pepper Bowl 2 1 tspn ancho chili powder 1/2 tspn dried onion 1/2 tspn garlic granules 1/2 tspn black pepper Bowl 3 1 tspn smoked paprika 1 tspn hot chill powder 1 tspn ground cumin I made a homemade Chipotle paste but you can buy. 1/2 sweet red pepper finely chopped 1 red onion finely chopped 500ml beef stock and 2 dessert spoons of tomato puree mix. 500g good quality mince beef. Method Fry veg until soft and put to one side. Fry the beef so it has a little colour. Add the veg, salt, stock mix and bowl 1 Very low with lid on 1 hour, stir half way. Add bowl 2 lid back on 30 minutes. Add bowl 3 lid off and reduce down to required consistency. Add hot sauce for additional heat and the vinegar content. Pics later.
It's not tbf. Just a bit of prep and get it on then you've got plenty of time to have a beer and let it cook. Just add more spices now and then.
For those who like beans it's worth trying without but if you really want them put them in with half hour to go and Do Not Rinse those beans.
I thought the same mate did it all my life then did one of these award winning things and thought wtf? But went with it, makes a huge difference, will never rinse again.
Really? If the beans are in chilli sauce I use that sauce but if they are in water I would rinse, no?
