Yonks ago, wirh a girl I was seeing we went to her grandads for Boxing Day dinner, he hated Turkey, so we had Cockerell, it was really nice, never had it before or since but remember it was very tasty.
Always remember serving my Dad a glass of Chateau Lafite on xmas day and he asked if there was any of that Blossom Hill that he likes instead. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
Funnily enough I was speaking to a sommelier on Friday and he said the only thing he hates about wine is the snobbery involved, if you like blossom Hill drink it, if you genuinely like expensive stuff drink it but don't pretend you know what you're on about when you really know nothing applies to a quite a few folk he's come In contact with when it comes to the more expensive ones.
One for Schlem Fried shepards pie Fried in loads of butter with added peas and gsrlic and chilki flakes. Turned up the heat at the end to get some crispy bits. Was actually bangin.
I’m after a new frying pan for Xmas. needs to have a flat bottom so that I can do bacon and eggs etc. Also needs to have tall enough sides for curry and risotto etc Budget around £70. Recommendations ?
