Was a bit surprised there was less than 800 there, but as you say, there were a few first-timers. Hopefully we can get the crowds up above 1,000 again. Atmosphere is normally better at Eppleton mind.
Saw one lass with a Sunderland Top with Grigg on the back. If I'd had some tomatoes, I would've pelted her with them!![]()
They should also let fans know that the ticket row and seat no means nowt as it's a 'sit anywhere' arrangement. When I bought mine they were for the East stand
it would save the stewards a bit of grief as a few arrived late expecting to sit where they had bought tickets for (which isn't unreasonable btw) but it would be nice to tell fans beforehand as quite a few had young kids and a few had walking sticks/crutches so I assume they picked a specific seat so they didn't have to gan all the way to the back row.
