Said it on a different thread , think Reay has taken us as far as she can - time for a change .KLD and Speakman know any women’s team football managers as we are in free fall rather than looking toward a promotion push.

I think Mel has taken them as far as she can and should make way for a new coach. If we're looking for investors for the women's team, as was reported this week, they'll expect us to be challenging for promotion to WSL at the very least.

We look a decent outfit going forward, but defensively we're a mess. Since Claudia Moan jumped ship, we haven't had a decent keeper. Jesse Stapleton was a good signing last season, but she hasn't been adequately replaced at CB. We also lost Amy Goddard, another CB, in the summer.

I don't think we make the most of Kitchen. She needs runners to play off here and create more space.

The team definitely needs some investment in it.

Katie Kitching is our shining light and I'm amazed she's still here. It's no good scoring 1's and 2's every game, if we're conceding 3. The defence, including defensive midfield needs sorting. You're right, Kitching has little or no support in the midfield.

It's just the poor ball retention that keeps putting the defence under pressure.

Newcastle knew how to keep it on the deck and get it up the pitch.
